Question about Shingles?

I just got diagnosed with shingles. Which is surprising since I never recalled having had chicken pox (apparently I had a really light case). I am in a lot of pain, which they told me I would be, but I am also tired all of the time. Exhausted. Even though I am sleeping. Is this exhaustion normal with having shingles? Should I get as much rest as possible? Thank you so much for your help.

This should be a lesson to you to GET VACCINATED. Vaccines save lives.

That being said, you may be sick for 2-3 weeks. Get plenty of rest and keep clean.
