Ever since I downloaded the new Yahoo IM I have lines across the YA. What's up?

They look like little flags and run across the answers.

    Try this first: press F5 (refresh) and see if it clears up.

    If not, sign out, clear ALL your cache files - and restart your computer.

    That generally fixes a lot of the YA problems.
