Because he is supposed to be the Chief Executive of the United States and thus far has not shown any leadership. Every President has had to deal with Congress. He is the worst at it. For the most part, for at least the last two years he has been "phoning it in". For the last several months he has been in the fund raising and campaign mode while the country founders. When the Ship of State is in dire straits, the person to blame is the one who is supposed to be in the wheelhouse.

The house says that they are going to pass some legislation, Obama says "I be veto-in dat" so the bill passes the house goes to the senate and sits on Harry Dickweeds desk.
Ever notice that when Obama says "I will accept" the bill flies out of the senate like a rocket?
Why do liberals blame everyone else except themselves, including the Bastard in Chief
Now you know why Obama is to blame for the dead-lock

The Tea Party comprises 17% of Congress. They couldn't create a deadlock even if they wanted to, and virtually every piece of legislation that they have proposed has been defeated in Congress. Not in the Senate, mind you, but in Congress.
I strongly suspect that you don't know the difference between the Tea Party and the Neocon Republicans. I also suspect that you would support the Tea Party if you had any idea of what they actually stand for.

Because Obama isn't being a leader by going against some people...
His tax cut plan for the middle class would have succeeded if he didn't plan to put high taxes on the Rich. He knows that the Republicans won't let him hurt the Rich.
