Congratulations! You've won 100 million dollars... now what?

What would you do with your winnings?

For me, I would keep 5 million, and the rest would go into a foundation in my name to help fund intermural athletics, and provide academic scholarships to current and former foster youth.

You?

I'd buy a house for the family, give my in-laws 2 million each, I'd put 5 million in each of my kids accounts, they can use that to buy themselves a car, house or college when they are older, we'd go on a huge holiday, buy new clothes, a new car and some new furniture, then I'd invest in some property, I've always wanted to own some houses and rent them very cheaply for those family's that are doing hard, the ones you hear about say mum and 3 kids all sleeping in a car sort of families, I'd probably invest 20 million in that, I'd invest a bit in charity, I'd probably put 10 million into diabetes research and I have no idea what I'd do with the rest.

  • I would buy a house in Montreal (I plan to move there). The house would be a six bedroom house, with 3 bathrooms, a study and a big garden, so I can have my vegetable patch and grow flowers. I'd also buy a house in Paris, London, a house by the beach and an apartment in New York City (: it's good to invest in properties.

I want to have 4 children in the future; 3 girls and 1 boy and I would set up a college trust fund - the money would pay off their college fees. I would also send my children to private schools. I would set up my florist and interior designing business. I would give some money to children and animal charities, church and to charities for homeless people. I would also leave some money for my children for when their adults and for my grandchildren :D

so after tax and fees youd probably have closer to 40 million.

i would buy a house. the biggest house in my town is currently for sale for $318,000. (most houses in this area are 50 - 130 thousand). i would buy it and furnish it with everything i could want/need.

i would open my kids both savings accounts with 1 million dollars each. i would also hold a million to open a future child their own account.

i would adopt a child or 2 and open them accounts as well.

i would hold back money for all my kids college tuitions.

i would buy my mom a new house and car. i would also pay for her to go back to school bc she has always wanted to be an RN. i would buy my dad a house and a car. i would help out my 2 grandmas.

after helping out people in my family i would save 4 or 5 million. then donate the rest to hospitals, food banks, shelters, ect.

First off, I wouldn't tell many people at all. Not because I'd want to keep it for myself, but rather that I'd like to be seen as me and not a millionaire. I think there would be awkwardness.

I'd help my brothers, and buy them each a house. I'd pay for my friend's IVF treatment and get her out of debt.

I'd start a local organisation wherein homeless and vulnerable people work themselves out of their crisis and into a home. I'd provide the jobs, and rented accommodation for my employees until they got back on their feet. I'd also open a food and clothing bank.

I'd look after myself of course, but I don't particularly want more than I already have. Maybe some more clothes? Haha.

    Foundation, donations, etc ?

Sorry it's too early to think about that let me fulfill all my dreams first, and then If there's any leftovers I might consider such gestures.

    What would I do ?

Buy a nice house, car, health insurance, and enough to retire at the age of 21, don't worry I don't expect to last past the 30's. After getting all that I'd start a stripclub(nightclub with proper and decent security.

Then I'd travel to teh savannah in Africa and have a life experiance, adter that one is done I'd go to the arctic.

    After all that is done.

I'd most likely smoke it. or help protest against Sea world or any other animal restraining facilities so called "ZOO"

Definitely get into owning apartment buildings like my parents did, but on a much larger scale.

I actually have enough money to retire now at 34, but that would be boring. I'd rather earn money and contribute to the world.

I would save about half of it to save for my future children and grandchildren. The other half I would use to find cures for diseases, donate it to charities and do good stuff with it.
