The OWS and their support of the common man?

What has the OWS crowd done for the common man?

So far their record is:

-Disrupt workers on docks and at wall street

-Cost cities $13 million each in property damage and police overtime

-attract rapists and criminals

What are their ultimate goals?

It seems like their "protests" are just costing the working man money (if they slow shipments of products at our ports).

How are they helping us workers?

They were never out to help anyone currently employed. They hate employment altogether, or that is not on their terms. They want a free ride so that they may explore their "art".

As far as the effort as a whole, they were protesting the wrong people and places. They should have been in Washington, where all the bailouts were given the go ahead.

I'd rather see a relatively small amount of tax-payers money go towards the cost of these occupations, than see a very large amount of tax-payers money go to bailout the mega-rich....

How are they helping the workers? How are you helping yourself? Maybe if you actually participate, rather than player-hate, then you could see something beneficial coming out of the OWS movement... They're protesting the ever increasing oligarchical society we live in... They dream of a day when you wont think of yourself as a "worker"... If we don't stem the tide soon, then we will all end up as nothing more than slaves to our corporate masters... We'll work for Acme dollars, get paid by the Acme corporation, then spend all of our money on Acme products, it's called corporate-fascism or corporate-servitude....

Do you really believe everything you see on TV? You don't think that the corporately owned and corporately controlled media might be manipulating the news for the benefit of the corporations, and at the expense of the Occupy movement?

I'm a Republican, and while their movement is far from perfected, I support the OWS movement...
