Serious answer: He's a LIBERTARIAN!
“POLITICAL CORRECTNESS is a doctrine fostered by a delusional, illogical minority, and rabidly promoted by an unscrupulous mainstream media which holds forth the proposition that it is entirely possible to pick up a turd by the CLEAN END.” --- Former US Senator from Wyoming, Alan K. Simpson
Republican since before she was born… and PROUD of it.

A serious answer.
Hillel asked three questions 2000 years ago. Ron Paul can answer only the first one correctly.
"1. If I am not for myself, who will be?"
The correct answer is that of course we must all be for ourselves and those dependent upon us.
"2. If I am *only* for myself, who am I?"
The correct answer is some sort of Libertarian, who claims to have the freedom to ignore the needs of others in his community.
"3. If not now, when?"
The correct answer is now, and Ron Paul has no interest in coming to the help of others at any time.
I hope that is serious enough for you.
Anyone who would name his son after the crazed witch, Ayn Rand, is quite irresponsible.

Look at all the dumb people that do not like him. You see here lie after lie after lie. All the lies are "stupidity style" lies. For instance he does not want to legalize drugs because he is not running for a governorship. He wants to return the country to the way the Constitution was written for it to be and that is a state matter because nowhere in the Constitution does it control drugs on a Federal level. One needs to really twist the wording to get that out of it. Many try.
Foreign policy: His foreign policy is the most liked policy in the world and will reverse the hatred the GOP has gotten us into. There was a time not long ago the world liked and respected us. The GOP has brainwashed radio and TV zombies into a new McCarthy mentality. So how does the GOP get it that a foreign policy the world loves is isolationist while the policy that made them hate us is not?

His economic ideas either have been tried and failed (Liberty of Contract that was upheld by the federal courts in the last half of the 1800's and was use to justify child labor and a bunch of other labor abuses) or are ideals that ignore human nature and human needs and border on psychopathology.

The people that don't like Ron Paul are uninformed and ignorant. Thats ok. Their is still time to do some research and make the right decision. Freedom is scary and takes great responsibility but I know you can do it,

I like Ron Paul. He is consistent, he doesn't pander to the Evangelical Christians or FOX news, he doesn't sign asinine pledges written by lobbyists and he has no plans to bomb Iran. In short, he has not been assimilated into the GOP Borg.
He is a little long in the tooth and a little weird, but he has my vote in the Texas primary. It might not mean much by then but Paul, or Huntsman, are the only two GOP candidates who I would vote for.

I actually like Ron Paul... I jst dont want him to be president.
First off I find libertarian ideas and policies to be way too idealistic to think that business can regulate itself, that essentialy a individual always trumps the good of the community and the United States' role in the world market does not give us the luxury of having a isolationist or a non-interventionist outlook.

He's insane.
For every decent idea he has, he has a dozen crazy ones.
He wants to destroy the public health system, since he thinks that isn't the role of the federal government. That will kill people.

I don’t like him because the other politicians who have always loved me, told me not to. I forgot to mention that the people on the news stations really seem to hate him, so he must be really bad huh.

I like Paul for a while in the debates, and then he drops a wacky bombshell. He is a loose cannon. What would he be like in the White House? That is my concern.
