Is it ok to re-use kitchen foil ?

So much of it after the first use seems that it could be re-used.Is it ok to do this ?

    No - consider cross-contamination

    Whatever germs are on the surface of your foil - you're now in danger of spreading them onto whatever foods you wrap this foil around.

    I suppose you could wash it, but if there are any crinkles in the foil, are you really going to risk giving yourself food poisoning to save a few pennies.

    Recycle your foil by all means - but don't use it to wrap food in again.

    Think he means rare or raw meat. Aluminium foil is impervious so in theory could be washed and sanitized. Re-use is good for the environment.

    Tin foil is inexpensive to buy, and it's better to be safe than sorry. Once it touches food, (meat, fish, and sauces), it becomes contaminated with those food spores. Transferring it over to use with another food item, just increases the risk of potential food poisoning.

    Yep. So long as there wasn't any raw meat etc inside.

    I always marvel at how much foil our nation wastes daily...

    You can as long as it hasn't been used of raw meat and if it is not burnt.

    Depends what for . I don't but wouldnt use it to cover food again .

    my mom dose that.Yes its ok were in a rescission recycle
