A question for my brothers and sisters "Jehovah witnesses"?
Apparently there are some ex-Jehovah witnesses on hear who show themselves to be apostates by their empty talk against the organization. Why are we responding to their questions?
2 John 9, 10: “Everyone that pushes ahead and does not remain in the teaching of the Christ does not have God. . . . If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, never receive him into your homes or say a greeting to him.”
Rom. 16:17, 18: “I exhort you, brothers, to keep your eye on those who cause divisions and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that you have learned, and avoid them. . . . By smooth talk and complimentary speech they seduce the hearts of guileless ones.”
Yes we follow God's commands and separate ourselves from any who do not love God or obey his word.

Apostates are spiritually mentally diseased, corrupted in mind and they suck (like their father):
"If any man teaches other doctrine and does not assent to healthful words, those of our Lord Jesus Christ, nor to the teaching that accords with godly devotion, 4 he is puffed up [with pride], not understanding anything, but being MENTALLY DISEASED over questionings and debates about words. From these things spring envy, strife, abusive speeches, wicked suspicions, 5 violent disputes about trifles on the part of men CORRUPTED IN MIND and despoiled of the truth, thinking that godly devotion is a means of gain."
~ 1 Timothy 6:3-5
Personally speaking, once I find out (discover) that someone here on Yahoo Answers is an apostate (there is a difference between a person that simply opposes us out of ignorance and a APOSTATE) they go straight to my BLOCKED list (it's very full).
However, there are times when I may respond to someone and I don't know that they are an apostate and thankfully I have my family of brothers and sisters here on Yahoo Answers who kindly alert me to the fact that such person(s) is a apostate and once I verify it... Off they go to my BLOCKED list with the rest of the twisted fallen ones.
The apostates can't stand us, they find it deeply disturbing and irritating that we totally shun them (in our OBEDIENCE to the 13th Verse of 1 Corinthians 5:9-13; Romans 16:17, 18 & 2 John 9-11) but this is no surprise because it was their defiance and unsubmissiveness to Theocratic Order that is responsible for their apostasy in the first place.
One of the features I do LOVE about Yahoo Answers is that when a person is placed on our BLOCKED list they have the red circle with the diagonal line show up next to their avatar and this STAYS even when they try to change their user-name. Consequently, I believe that this explains why there has been a influx in new "level one" accounts popping up on Yahoo Answers whos goal toward Jehovah's people is to cause DIVISIONS and occasions for stumbling contrary to the teaching that we have learned through God's organization and they try to do this by SMOOTH TALK, COMPLIMENTARY SPEECH and a SEEMING "sincere" approach.
***EDIT:
'Cd Cd' is a PERFECT example of what I relayed. No matter though, people such as this probably consider many of the comments to people which were made by Jesus, John the baptist and Jesus' disciples to have been "hateful" also... I'm pretty sure King Herod, the Scribes and Pharisees sure thought Jesus, John the baptist and Jesus' disciples were "hateful" when they said the following: http://bit.ly/rwdHw7 .
As I said, apostates SUCK, (S - U - C - K... Satan's Ungodly Corrupt Kinsfolk, foretold at Genesis 3:15) and God through Christ will give them what they deserve in His due time.
***EDIT @ 'luke' who stated in part regarding our Lord Jesus Christ... And I quote:
"Its not necessary to consistently magnify your differences because it creates division in the world and within the body of christ...Jesus was a carrier of peace and if you disagree then I think you missed a big part of his message"
Really? No dude, we KNOW that those such as yourself are the ones who are truly missing the big part of Jesus' message... And I quote Christ:
"Do not think I came to put peace upon the earth; I came to put, not peace, but a sword. 35 For I came to cause division...."
~ Matthew 10:34, 35a
So, uh, yeah, not only do WE (Jehovah's Witnesses) disagree with you, the Bible itself shows that Jesus Christ disagrees with you too and since Jesus Christ and Almighty God His Father are ONE in unity of thought and purpose (John 10:30, 17:11, 21) it is of reason of necessity that God Almighty disagrees with you also.
Capeesh? :-)
Well okey dokey then.
Here ya go "luke" (and anyone else who truly cares), the brief Bible based article in the following link will help YOU on your journey of understanding Jesus' TRUE MESSAGE based on accurate knowledge of what the scriptures reveal: http://bit.ly/fXoUjl
Ciao and Agape to my brother the asker and all those who are on the side of Jehovah's Truth :-D

Really, we shouldn't. They are not meant to be questions where we can give a positive response, they are just meant to twist what we say and to set us up. Their battle against Jehovah and Christ Jesus is a lost one, and sis, we know that very well.
I'm also not quick at calling someone an apostate, for sometimes we really do not know that. Otherwise, we may be incorrectly judging someone.
I do want to comment, though, on this person's remarks about us frequenting places where apostates are. He is correct in that yes, we are discouraged from frequenting places where apostates may hang out, or from posting comments on apostate websites. However, when I'm on Answers, I don't think of it as an apostate hangout. I believe there are much more people who come to R&S seeking answers to genuine Biblical questions than the small amount of apostates on here. That is why I am here. Think of it... this is no different than going door to door.
I work Spanish territory in Southern US, and have encountered several in the territory that were disfellowshiped in their country, and some who are opposers. Some may be called apostates. Do I linger and talk to them or debate with them? No. It's the same way here. I am not "frequenting", I just happen to run into some every so often at a door. I compare YA to the door. If I run into one, I just slide out, and go to the next "door." And I do not answer their questions, nor for the most part of those whose intention is purely to mock us or put us to some sort of test. We should strive to defend the truth, not engage in debates that get us nowhere.

I think most times people respond to the question posed by apostates and other opposers because there needs to be balance so those who are looking will get the truth of certain subjects rather than the lies that apostates spew.
Apostates main objective is to stumble Christians. They will do anything they can to stumble us. They will lie, cheat and steal in order to stumble. What I will do is set the matter straight with full quotes of articles they quote out of context so that others who just read will get the full information needed in order to make a decision based on knowledge rather than slander.

I posted a question about this a couple weeks ago. We need to be extremely careful with who we are talking to on here. Responding to apostates is no better than speaking to Satan. I myself have answered some of there questions before I realized who and what they were. I think for witnesses that are new to this website they might do the same. But as soon as we learn which ones are apostates we should keep that in mind and ignore them, don't even read their words. It doesn't matter what we say, they have made their choice as to who's table to sit at. There words are slanderous venom and you risk being infected if you make a reply to them. Thank you for this reminder, we can't be too careful!!
I would just like to add that we are not going against what the governing body says by answering sincere questions on websites like this. Where there are interested people, we will be there also. We would be going against the bible by speaking to apostates.

We are answering many questions. We cannot analyze the heart of each one that posts. Sometimes you could think someone is sincere with their questions and they are not. Another one seems rather sarcastic or even like they have an agenda of some type, you are a little harsh and come to find out, they were sincere. That has happened to me personally. There are a few that actually are proud to tell us exactly who they are. In that case, I just pass them by. We do have to be careful just as we are in all sorts of territory. I have been on Answers for almost 2 years and I have seen a lot of good come of it. I do see though that you can waste a lot of your time. That is probably one of the main pit falls. Bottom line; each one of us needs to pray and analyze what we want to accomplish on here. If another friend answers something we have decided is not good, we can either mention it, or just let it go. Y!A can be a two-edged sword.

When i read comments as stupid as the one from the person above me Mindy who says:"
"As I said, apostates SUCK and God through Christ will give them what they deserve in His due time"
it becomes evident to me that some (not all) JWs could never be real christians. Christianity has no place for people like this idiot, who is salivating at the mouth with the thought that God will kill people who simply disagree with the Watchtower's view.
Shame on the other witnesses here, who sit idly while they see hateful comments like these from their own people and say nothing about it.

I do not know why you don't answer all the questions asked of you...those whom you consider "apostates" or not...if you are not confident in your beliefs, then block them, and do not answer, but if you truly believe your religion can stand up to the scrutiny of your opposers, why gang up here, and make an agreement to run away together? Are Jehovah's Witnesses Cowards, or Christians? You should make every effort to answer the ones who are challenging you, otherwise you are just serving yourselves here.
Give an answer to the one who is taunting you.

@T, not so. Rather, the scriptures advocate purity and oneness of worship. It does not advocate divisions, what it does is advocate INTENSE love amongst those who are UNITED in the ONE faith, and yes, a SEPARATION from those who REFUSE to change from their WRONG course, and bad ways.
2 Peter 3:15-16
Lexham English Bible (LEB)
15 And regard the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as also our dear brother Paul wrote to you, according to the wisdom that was given to him, 16 as he does also in all his[a][b] letters, speaking in them about these things, in which there are some things hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable distort to their own destruction, as they also do the rest of the scriptures.
Footnotes:a.2 Peter 3:16 Literally “the”; the Greek article is used here as a possessive pronoun
b.2 Peter 3:16 Some manuscripts do not explicitly state “his”
Ephesians 4 NW
2with complete lowliness of mind and mildness, with long-suffering, putting up with one another in love, 3earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. 4One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all.

If you are going to immerse yourselves in this Yahoo Answers forum, and be here at your own risk, why not stop team-shunning and blocking, and get out there and defend your so-called truths?
There are many FINE and Loving people in your group, but remember the scriptures, "This means everlasting life...."? Why do you stop accepting knowledge about Jesus and God from any source other than the WT?
You are all Censored.
The Bible also tells you not to place you trust in earthling man? Well guess who your trust is in...?
You have learned about the U.N. NGO WTBTS affiliations here, pedophile pay-offs, Australia and the fact that your WT lawyers have denied that the faithful and discreet exists, (only as a theocratic idea) in order to sidestep financial loses in the forthcoming lawsuit. You have learned that Jesus was not resurrected a spirit as Charles Russell teaches, and that Jesus body was NOT dissolved in the tomb as you teach, you have learned that Jesus is not Michael the archangel, you have learned that your organization HAS committed false prophesy, and has prostituted herself with the world......and so much more...I wouldn't want to try to defend that record either.
Matthew 4-10 says;
"Apostates main objective is to stumble Christians. They will do anything they can to stumble us. They will lie, cheat and steal in order to stumble. What I will do is set the matter straight with full quotes of articles they quote out of context so that others who just read will get the full information needed in order to make a decision based on knowledge rather than slander."
It is people like this man, who lie, slander and stumble others up to the end, that will be revealed by our Lord and Master Christ. I have proof of his slander, lies and misquotes....and he has the nerve to point his self-righteous little fingers?
True Christians cannot be stumbled... only babes, and that is who YOUR organization has stumbled...Babes, children, and innocent ones. Do you not read the scriptures ?
So much is happening , you need to pray and ask God to reveal the true Jesus to you. He will reveal Himself to those that ask in truth, it is a promise.
You need to stay, and give an answer to the ones who are "Taunting "you, as this is how you view all of our questions.
Answer, or run...show Jesus what you are made of, please?
You are all so "God-like"!
Oh, by the way, I visited a number of their questions where I was blocked, and they have "Group Blocked" answering any of my questions. This is fine, as Holy Spirit will lead whoever needs to read this, as He chooses, not them.
Jehovah's Witness CHIDREN are helping this EX-WITNESS, want to see why?

This is from Steven Unthank in Australia...He is the lone prosecuter against the Watchtower Society. He needs assistance. This is a modern David and Goliath..
Thank you,
