Have you ever taken an I.Q. test sober, and then the same one drunk?
What was the difference in your scores? I went from "extremely gifted" to "gifted".

I administered the 3 leading and current intelligence inventories multiple times as part of my psychology practicum. Even in a population of people who have been selected for higher intelligence (college students by the SAT) and no one in 23 years of this program ever saw an overall score of over 130. By definition if you ever scored an authentic 145 you would be one of the top 1% smartest people in the world. I doubt you'd be drinking and taking online intelligence tests if that were true.
We have to mark things like if you appear tired, hard of hearing, English is your second language or if you report being drunk last night or currently drunk. It is scored on several vectors, such as verbal math, non verbal math, spatial skills, speed etc. Those are averaged and corrected for things like age and made into a confidence interval. You don't get a 115. What we when we give you your score is "We are 95% sure Bill scored between a 112 and 116 on the Stanford Binet 4. Which places him in the high average category."
There is no way to get a good score online. There are some things we can't test. If anything we are testing your computer interaction skills. I had a non-native speaker who got a 79 on math and 129 on language just because he has been actively practicing language. Read The Missmeasure of Man, by Gould. It tells you all about the history of intelligence tests.

Yes I have. The first time I received a bona fide IQ score was when I took the ASVAB to get into the US military. IQ 134. Then, quite a few years later I took one online. IQ 134. I was pretty drunk. Not so drunk, though, that I didn t remember the next morning, so I took it again another one a few nights later without any booze. Same result IQ 134. Since then, I made one more drunk trial. Same result. What amazes me is the complete lack of variance in the results. Seems to always be 134. I have taken no tests the score of which I ve just disregarded. Always 134. Bizarre.

Online IQ tests are not accurate at all. I've taken one once before and scored an IQ of 90. Then I took another different one, and scored 146. I'm quite certain that I am above average, but i'm certainly nowhere near being a genius.
Anyway, I've done that before, and there was no difference in score.

As Dovahkiin said, online 'IQ tests' are not accurate, and are not recognized as any kind of valid test by professionals. When taking a real IQ test, in a controlled setting, you would not be allowed to take one while drunk; it would be a waste of time.
