  • Upright fridges: freezer on top or bottom?

I'm looking for your feedback/suggestions on which is best: a fridge with the freezer on top or a drawer freezer on the bottom. Tell me what your reasons are for the one you think is best.

I will be purchasing a new fridge this year, and this is my last stop for research, so only serious replies please.

  • Yahoo mail my emails are taking a very long time to arrive...?

Yahoo, why are my emails are arriving almost 12 hours after they are sent? This happened just yesterday when my boss tried to email me with instructions for my shift last night. I got the email while I was online just this morning, 12 hours AFTER it was sent!

This is ludicrous. I've used Yahoo for over 12 years and have never experienced this kind of lag. What is going on and when, if ever, will this issue be resolved?

  • Does anyone know why my Yahoo Toolbar keeps disappearing?

I don't mean hidden, I mean completely gone. I have to re make it. Sometimes it will remain fine, then for no reason when I open IE, it's completely gone.

I love my Yahoo services. I don't want others. But I'm at my wits end. Can anyone help? My toolbar is quite helpful with my job.

  • Law & Order SVU fans, do you know....?

I'm trying to find the name of the piece of classical music played at the beginning of the episode "Locum" from 2010, Law & Order - Special Victims Unit. The child star is playing the piano at the opening, and it is a familiar classical piece, but I can't think of the name or composer. I believe it may be Mozart, but I'm not sure. Do you know the name of this piece of music and who the composer is? Thanks in advance.

  • What is the psi for a Honda CBR125?

I've checked the tires for the proper psi, and online. In both instances, this is what I find:

    100/80 - 17 front; 130/70 - 17 rear

Can anyone please tell me, what is the psi for the tires, front and rear? Is it 100/80? Is it 17? I'm using a tire gauge, it's reading 17, but I want to be absolutely sure before I actually park my butt on it.

I'd appreciate only serious, straightforward answers. I have my license, and I know about air pressure, so all I need is the exact amount for the psi. Thank you in advance.

  • Do you refill your ink cartridges yourself?

I've recently started a project that requires A LOT of printing, mostly with black ink only. The cost is overwhelming, even if I only get my cartridges refilled, and not buy new.

I'm thinking of refilling my own cartridges and I was wondering, if you refill your own, what would you say are the pros and cons? Any helpful advice?

I do understand this will void my warranty, (already done), and could possibly have a negative effect on my printer. I'm not worried. It's lifetime is almost up anyways. As long as I can complete this job without going bankrupt!

  • Does anyone know the song these lyrics are from, re: House M.D.?

The song was featured during the bloopers part of "House M.D. - Swan Song - A Retrospective Look at the Last 8 Years". (bloopers were about 45 min into the hour)

    The lyrics are, and confirmed:

…And we rest in this sleepless stall until the morning shows light on it all

I have used various web search engines and can find nothing!

Please, there are MANY fans trying to find out this song.

    Thank you.

  • What House MD episode included scenes that were shot in Malibu, California?

I recently viewed a video on You Tube where one of the cast mentions there were scenes shot in Malibu, California. Which episode? There are three I know of for sure which included "beach" or "sand" scenes; Locked In; Bombshells; and Moving On. From what I can find out, none of these included scenes in Malibu, but another city. So, do you know what episode(s) included scenes shot in Malibu, California?

  • Making Potato Gnocchi and....?

Hi all! I'm looking for some great suggestions on the best way to serve Potato Gnocchi. How would you serve it? What kind of sauce, if any? Toppings? As a side with what?

I'm making it, and I'm finding too many various recipes on the net, so I thought I would choose from the answers I get here.

By the way, I know that baking the potatoes gives you much lighter gnocchi, as well as less moisture, so they stay together much better.

  • Ladies, how would you react....?

If someone whom you've been attracted to for many years, hugged you "hello" and cupped a feel of your body? He states he's been thinking of you a LOT, and you are definitely receiving signals. You've always admired his sense of humour, his looks, his ethics, just about every darned thing about him ............BUT ............he is married to a mutual friend?

Not to worry. I have a strict rule about that sort of thing. Definitely a "NO", but still, DANG! He's sending you so many bloody signals, only an idiot could get it wrong, and the attraction is DEFINITELY mutual. What would you do?

  • House M.D. fans.. If Lisa Edelstein?

If Lisa Edelstein is sooo great, then why didn't she get enough votes to be included in the nominations for the People's Choice Awards this year? Hugh Laurie made it each year... she didn't. GO HUGH!

  • Antidepressants: for or against?

I've been reading up on depression and the current treatments available, and it seems to me that doctors are too quick to prescribe antidepressants, especially in adults. What do you think? I know that SSRI's are helpful in SOME cases, but is it really necessary for doctors to give you that script BEFORE suggesting counselling or therapy? Wouldn't mild to moderate depression be better helped if those who suffer from it could receive guidance first?

It's been reported that SSRI's are only proving effective amongst those with severe depression, but even then, it is extremely difficult, if not impossible, to wean the patient off of them, for their bodies have become so dependent on the drugs. Some studies have actually shown that some people who do manage to get off the SSRI's, years later, never fully recover.

    What are your thoughts?

I know there are people who truly benefit from the use of SSRI's, but do you think antidepressants are being overprescribed, if only to "get you out of the doctor's office"?

  • Have you tried the NoNo Hair Removal system?

I'm hearing about this NoNo Hair Removal system, that uses "heat pulses" to "crystallize" hair below the skin. The claims being made are the usual; hair takes longer to grow back, grows in finer, no ingrown hairs, painless system, and so on. If you've tried this system, are the claims true?

What would you say are the pros and cons of this system?

  • Is there an easy way to....?

tell the difference between real and man made leather?

I'm hoping to buy myself a jacket, and I definietly want real leather, but I also know, salespeople can smell a "newbie" from a mile away, and will know that I have to believe whatever they say as I don't know much about real leather. I'm trying to learn, so any advice when shopping for a leather coat/jacket would be appreciated. Thanks!
