Can loud noise affect goldfish?

    Yes. Goldfish (along with other fish) not only feel the vibrations of sound through their lateral line, but they do have ears and can hear. They have no external ear, nor do they need one, since the sound travels through their bodies easily, as it is close to the same density as water.

    Very loud noises can actually have long term effects on fish, and it definitely stresses them out.

    the loud vibrations would shake the water and scare the fishh.

    they can feel the vibrations from the sound but it wont affect them. it may startle them though but that will go away in like 2 seconds

    I don't think they have ears. Maybe vibrations from a loud noise, but definitely not from sound.
