World War I Letter Ideas?

Hi! For my history class I have to write a letter and make it look like it was from WWI. Is there a way I can make it look authentic? I was going to soak it in tea but since it was onle like 95 years ago I wasnt sure if it would look right. How can i make it look dirty like it was written in a trench? Any ideas?

Maybe find a very dusty floor, then with your hand or foot slide it up and down the floor a few times. Not only will it stain the paper but might get creased and even torn.

If you need any ideas, for the letter's subject matter, then pose another question. If I see it I will answer that too.

    Hope I've helped...

I would say write it and still stick it in tea.... It would look grubby/soaked if it was wrote in a trench. Just talk about the "other chaps" and it should look pretty cool!
