When will the topic Religion & Spirituality be moved under Mythology and Folklore?
Should have actually considered that people may have asked the same question. Luckily nobody died.

sorry, sir, religion was ordained by God before men had their first breath in the preexistence.
jesus organized and ordained men to be prophets apostles and teachers and deacons, and God calls men to be pastors as well.
there are many things that are mythology. when it comes to all religions. i agree with you on that. what they are, though, are not what you have been propagandized to believe they are.
i have literally seen an angel type personage appear in my bedroom and i saw 3 visions of the Lord Jesus christ.
the trinity is an imagination of man that became doctrine through tradtion, biblically you can say its true by pointing to half dozen bible quotes. but theologically, the bible actually has a dozen verses that teaches the Godhead. so, while Jesus is called God, omipotent, Jesus is the actually the Son of God who sits on the Fathers thrown with all the authority of God before him. the fulness of Godhead.
one mythology is the trinity, but it is corrected in the Restored church of jesus christ of latter day saints to a correct theology.
another myth might be the story of the woman caught in adultery. there are no primary books of scriptures that include this story, according to Bart Erhman. but the story seems to have been addded to the book of mark. where it does not exist in other manuscripts. mythology? or truth? only added after constantine probably declared some other book as heresy.
the resurrection.! there are those that say jesus us a potion to fake his death. thats the mythology, false doctrine invented by false leaders to discredit anything jesus did.
i mean if he only suffered a superficial wound in his lungs and heart, he still lived long enough to fake his resurrection, right? Wrong?
the soldier testified that blood and water came forth from the wound in jesus side. that means both lung and heart were ruptured. that means jesus was indeed dead.
i have literally stood in the presense of jesus, though i think i was in the spirit,.. i KNOW i saw the glory of God in a first vision where my spirit separated from body, and i stood and watched the morning sun.
and the glory of Jesus, the sun of righteousness was manifest to me. this is after a prayer of tears to swear off the lust of the flesh and of the eyes. after the blessing of a visible spirit layed his hands on my head. i tell you the truth. there may be some things that are myths but the reality of the existence of God is absolutely true.

When people forget what 'mythology and folklore' means.
Mythology and folklore refers to stories: Religious stories and non-religious stories, some true, some fiction, some a mixture of both. Bible conversations should technically be under mythology and folklore.
Religions refer to organizations and sets of practices. Practices and stories aren't the same thing.
Neither "Mythology" nor "Folklore" are value judgements. People who think they are are as silly as the Creationists who say "Just a theory" and both would be well served by picking up a dictionary.

many religions are unable to back up their understanding of things. however, lots of religions, such as buddhism and christianity, can back up events with physical evidence, not just by the scripture. i have done a lot of research on christianity, of course, im a christian. there are over 25,000 artifacts that can back the entire bible up. from moses parting the sea, jesus performing miracles, and earthquakes lossening the shackles off of prisoners. not just these events, but every single event beginning with the tower of babel. we know for a fact that jesus was born 2012 years ago, but we could never prove for a fact that he is divine in nature, which is why it is still called belief. same with buddhism. we know that this guy lived, and he had great teachings. in fact, although i am a christian, i do follow some teaching about buddhism. both of these can be backed up with physical or scientific evidence, so these two religions will never (for lack of a better word, BETTER NOT) show up in mythology and folklore.

Pure Mathematics is considered sufficiently different from Applied Mathematics to be categorised separately.
If you think of "Mythology & Folklore" as Pure Mythology and "Religion & Spirituality" as Applied Mythology, that might make sense.
And, of course, there are those who consider Mythology as Fiction and Religion as Fact. So categorising them differently accommodates them as well.

God is politics. you have heard of the religious suited have not you? curiously, God is a republican, and Jesus is a democrat. not that the republicans will ever admit that if Jesus replaced into alive on the instant, he'd be a socialist, liberal. With the long hair, the assisting of the undesirable, the blessed are the meek, etc. etc. good success getting God out of politics however. in case you succeed, Il'll be your greatest fan.
