How can the Xbox 360 Still Produce Very Good Graphics Even though the System was Released Back in Late 2005 UK?
I keep thinking in a Gaming computer sort of way.For e.g you have to upgrade the components of your gaming computer every couple of years , but it seems the Xbox 360 is opposite. And also Is it because they base the graphics around the Xbox 360's Graphics Potential for e.g They make the Graphics Good When Producing the game on the CD Therefore you not having to Upgrade your Xbox 360 Components (I Dont think you can upgrade them anyway) and does the Xbox 360 still have more Graphics Potential , More better Graphics to Produce? or is it dying out and they need to replace it , because PlayStation said the PS3 can Last a Minimum of 10 years, If I am wrong please correct me , just curious
'Slick like Rick' How can you possibly be as low as to come and search for my question on the internet out of so many other questions on yahoo answers and give an Answer that is Totally irrelevant to my question , this question is about The Xbox 360's Graphics I am just amused as to why you would answer so stupidly and irrelevantly , If you Dont like My profile Pic jog on. need some decent answers guys , Thanks for everyone who gives me decent answers , please no irrelevant answers in the future,Thanks.

Both the PS3 and the Xbox 360 are indeed dying out. The hardware is outdated and the only reason that the graphics are able to be how they are now (still barely comparable to a modern pc) is because developers have learnt ways to decrease the strain on the console. For example many first person console games have a low field of view so that the console has to process less information, skyrim has mountains on screen blocking your view at all times so that less of the world is visible at any given time.
The current generation of console is definetly on its way out and i remember hearing roumers of the next generation being in development awhile ago.

Take Battlefield 3 on computing gadget with intense or extremely settings and learn it to the PS3 and 360 variations. there's a reasonably super distinction in graphical high quality. the computing gadget version takes great thing pertaining to to the extra powerful hardware with extra desirable physique expenditures and extra dynamic outcomes as properly as larger resolutions and larger textures. For the main section, computing gadget photos are held returned because of the fact the video games are ported over from consoles which run on 6 3 hundred and sixty 5 days-previous technologies, yet once you get a sport that takes great thing pertaining to to the computing gadget then there's a international of distinction. the clarification photos have more suitable for the reason that then even on consoles however is because of the fact builders have found out the thank you to employ console hardware for the reason that then and function each and every variety of tricks to enhance photos at the same time as no longer hurting overall performance too plenty. The Uncharted sequence is fantastically good at this in specific.

Gosh did we really have decent graphics all those years ago, back in the stone age LOL
Fred Flintstone was really impressed with Myst back in the early 90s this was for the old Apple Macs.
128bit graphics have been around since the late 90s. It is just the frame speed and definition that have taken time to catch up. The Monitor I use at home was made in the late 90s for commercial use, and until I can afford a high end 27" flat screen it is staying as it is capable of handling over 2,000 lines definition, 1920 x 1600 is on at the moment, and 24" wide screen is shorter height than it.

That's a good question and I've thought about that myself at times. And you're right, the hardware in the 360 and PS3 is set, there's no upgrading it. But they did start out with either triple processors or triple core processors, so it was pretty advanced stuff for it's day.
It just goes to show you that the graphics are still good enough to keep console gamers happy. Until you have the next generation system to compare it to, we just don't know what we're missing.
Like was mentioned in the above answer, game developers are able to tweak the line of sight so that it's taking less CPU crunching to process. For example, in the CoD games, you don't have peripheral vision. Every play and have someone shoot you and say to yourself "WTH??? I never saw that guy!!"
