Who is Your Dream Team - and Why?

Suppose you could select any pair of people to run for President and Vice President. The only limitations are 1) that they must be legally qualified to run for the office, and 2) prominent enough to be considered realistic contenders for the office. They may be from the same party, or from different parties.

Give specific examples of why you think your team would be the best choice for our country, given the issues we face today. Say what you believe their top priorities would be, and how they would go about making law to enact those priorities. Assume that the congress is composed of the same people as it is now.

Update:

Please be aware that answers which mention only your preferred candidates but do not address the second paragraph of the question will not be considered. - Thanks.

Ron Paul (R Texas) and Dennis Kucinich (D Ohio). They voted against the NDAA, the Patriot Act and the wars. They walk the walk and their voting records in Congress reflect that.

    Huntsman/Paul

I like Huntsman because I've been paying close attention to him and have spent time devouring his site. He seems be the type of person that we so desperately need. A person willing to work with both sides and mend some fences.

As far as Ron Paul goes, I love his fiscal stance and voted for him in 08.

I would like to see Rick Perry as President, or Newt Gingrich as a second choice. Both have real leadership experience, and a Political background. Perry as a 3 term Governor in Texas, and Newt as Speaker of The House. Both have balanced government budgets, although in Gov. Perry's case, it is probably required in the Texas' Constitution.

In either case, I would like to see Herman Cain as the Vice-Presidential nominee, because of his business and leadership experience.

ron paul and kucinich or grayson.

we need to end the fed if we want to turn anything around in this country. kucinich or grayson would help to blur partisan lines.

Howard Dean and Alan Grayson I think they would be very aggressive and push their agenda much more aggressively than Obama.

    Gingrich and Huntsman.

For 2012 presidential election, for me it would be Romney-Gingrich.
