Acne-why? Detailed description.10 points award for the best answer.?

Hi, I am 21 and I have a serious problem that makes me really upset. Basically, I have inflamed red patches, dark spots and blemishes on my cheeks. Forehead is however completely clear. I am trying my best to eat loads of fruit and veg, and I am using the best natural cosmetics possible, from Amway, Clinique, MAC, etc. I am washing my face twice a day and apply different stuff to reduce the redness so the spots will go away, such as masks, anti-blemish creams, etc. I am also taking vitamins that support the healthy looking skin.

I have tried everything I could to eliminate acne on my cheeks but every day it seems to get worse. Recently however, I went to stay at my family's house and no changes in diet/ cosmetics/ etc were made. Skin started to clear up a little. Then I went back home and the skin started to get worse again. Also, I have recently discovered mold in my room. Could that contribute to the condition of my skin on the cheeks? Do you know what should I do to get rid of acne on my cheeks? Remember, that my forehead stays clear. Or maybe, is that maybe sign of some of my organs' dysfunction? Please help I cannot take it anymore. Please no silly answers. Thank you.

Update:

Plus, I drink loads of water.

1.drinking a good amount of water is a good thing to clear acne but make sure you don't over-drink it(can be fatal if consumed too much).(minimum intake should be 1.5 litres-2litres and maximum 3-3.5 litres, depending on your activities)

2.have a gap between each food item you eat(for example after having lunch, wait for at least 1 -2 hours to have anything else, also don't drink water immediately after having food ,as this will disturb the digestive enzymes, wait for say15-30 minutes)but if you can't hold your desire ,then you may have some water).

3.always wash your hands with a gentle soap and dry them with a clean towel before you eat anything or before you wash your face(and don't use so cold or warm water, use moderate temperature water.

4.have a good oral care.(don't use too much toothpaste for brushing, just use toothpaste that is equivalent to 1 blob the size of a pea,and don't swallow it).and don't be harsh on your teeth and gums, brush gently.

5.don't scratch or pop the affected skin area.

6.Don't take stress and be happy.

7.exercising is good for improving the blood circulation(but don't overexercise and strain yourself,do exercises that do not put too much strain on your body, like jogging, walking, aerobics, meditation etc.(but do this before you have a meal, exercise preferably in the morning, having an empty stomach)

8.don't take too much of vitamin supplements and that too for a long period. For having a good skin various vitamins are required such as -vitamin a,vitamin c,,vitamin e.The daily recommended intake of these vitamins can be found on the following site-http://www.anyvitamins.com/rda.htm

and try to take these vitamins from natural sources

vitamin a can be found in carrots, tomatoes, pumpkin, spinach etc.You can find others at-

    http://www.healthaliciousness.com/articles/food-so...

vitamin c can be found in oranges, lemons etc.other sources can be found on this site-http://en.wiped.org/wiki/Vitamin_C

vitamin e can be found in almonds, sunflower seeds etc.

but overdose of these vitamins can cause a great amount of toxicity, which can have adverse effects.

note-don't exercise after having a meal, and don't strain yourself too much, perform light exercises(you may ask your parents or friends/relatives about exercising in the right way.And take vitamin supplements only for a short period(maximum 2months).And don't overuse cosmetic products.the following steps would make sure your skin problems stay away.

1)wash your face with a moderate temperature water(not too much cold and not too much warm).

2)don't scratch any part of your skin ever.

3)after drying you face with a clean towel, apply some good moistoriser/cream to make the skin soft.

4)avoid constipation(both solid and liquid wastes are necessary to expel from the body.

5)Have a good sleep(the human body requires at least 8hours of sleep,so sleep as soon as possible after having food),you may walk slowly for some time after eating. This will help in digesting the food, but make sure you don't run or jog or perform any other exercise after having food. And make sure you are not overeating anything ir overdrinking),and don't apply too much of cosmetics(face wash, cream etc.

if conditions persist, please take advice from a doctor

    Best of luck!!

Dry and/or greasy skin due to poor oil composition of the skin. Thick greasy oils clog pores, lack of oil leads to dryness and irritation. You need thin oils to moisturize while dissolving and clearing gunk in your poors. Try fish oil or seafood. 2 tsp fish oil a day or 4 servings of seafood a week. Stick it out for at least 2 months; it will take a long time to replace all your oil. Any effect after 1-2 days is temporary or random; so even if it makes you break out a little at first, you haven't given it a full try yet.

In the short term you can wash and moisturize well, but that will only go so far. Plus excessive washing can be drying and excessive moisturizing can be clogging. Use a small amount of a light moisturizer, made with oil not jelly or grease. Often that means soybean oil or mineral oil. Mineral oil means mined from the ground. So soybean oil is usually better, though mineral oil won't cause too much harm. Clean with soap and water, not a harsh acne cleanser. Even then they only work so well. So you really need the seafood.

Antibiotics aren't really good for bacteria long term, they'll come back in force after. Short term they may help. After you get off them find some kefir with acidophilus listed first or 2nd to replace the friendly bacteria they destroyed. Studies show less illness when you have these bacteria, even outside the stomach in places such as the lungs and elsewhere. You want friendly bacteria to fill the void when the antibiotics stop, not harmful ones.

In the short term you might also try 100,000+ iu retinol vitamin A (a megadose, and too much for normal use) or one of the acne drugs that is similar to retinol vitamin A. It's some minor harm to your organs, but it helps against bacteria on your skin. At least it doesn't have the other long term drawbacks to your skin that antibiotics and many scrubs do.

If you would like to learn how to treat your acne permanently and regain your health and wellbeing, without drugs, without typical acne treatments, and without any side effects, then this will be the most important letter you will ever read.

I'm not certain that "Most Stars" constitutes 'Best Daily Question'. All that truely means is 'Most Popular'. Now, if we want a popularity contest, that is fair. Usually the 'Best Question' are the 'Most Ignored' question. However, just in case, I will star this question in the hopes you get the award. You deserve some kind of AWARD. Heres to you........**MWAH**
