Could Ron Paul be a problem for the GOP?

This year it seems like he has a chance of winning the GOP nomination,. If so he knocks out their moderate, Romney, and the GOP will wind up saddled with a libertarian candidate. This may be the only way the democrats could win.

Or it could be the only way that the Republicans can gain the White House at this time. Ron Paul is not a wacko. The reason people don't like what he says is due to the fact that he actually means to significantly reduce federal goverment spending. He intends to make all of us aware of what the Constitution mandates the government do, and not do. There is more than enough money available to pay for the things which the fed's ought to be doing for us. There just isn't enough to pay for all of the stuff that the bureaucrats "want" to do for us, and to us.

Why should our central government keep on expanding at a time when most people are having to reduce their budgets? It is a matter of properly timing economic recovery through job creation with federal worker layoffs.

I will be writing in Paul's name on election night even if he is not the candidate running against the President.

If the people ever had the opportunity to listen to Dr. Paul’s explanation of the real problem that our economy rests with the FED and fixing or at least standardizing our currency would be extremely beneficial. All I see in my neighborhood are Ron Paul signs so maybe some of us are beginning to understand. His non-intervention policy would also be a big plus as far as hatred we receive from other countries. Returning regulations and much of the authority that Washington has stolen back to the states would be great. Many states would benefit greatly but you will still have those politicians in the state that will over regulate and enact burdensome taxes. In the end those states will fail but at least the other states won’t be forced to bail them out. I believe if people heard his plans for liberty and freedom he would win by a landslide. After all who really wants the income tax and the IRS!

It will be a problem for the GOP members that want to destroy our constitution slowly but surely. Obama the NDAA, Bush the Patriot Act, whoever THEY want in next can't be good.

Romney created Obama Care before Obama did, just on a smaller scale. Romney won't disclose his tax returns for some odd reason. Romney and Obama both receive large contributions from associates at banks that where bailed out with taxpayer money.

FACT: Ron Paul has received more donations from active duty then all other candidates including Obama COMBINED! Support our troops, support Ron Paul.

Look where all candidates receive their top contributions:

The GOP is a problem for America! They can not seem to get a good candidate for any of the offices so when they loose they do what they can to see the winner suffers. They are like poor looses in a legged butt kicking contest!

What exactly are you smoking? The democrats are going to win either way. None of these Republican buffoons is qualified or competent to be president.

But you're right in a way -- if an incompetent career politician like Ron Paul can get the nomination, it will be even easier for the Dems to win in November. And it will reflect very poorly on your party, which already is viewed with much-deserved repulsion by thinking Americans.

Yes he is a problem, like they all said he is "dangerous".

He is dangerous to the establishment, because they are a bunch of crooks and criminals. If Ron Paul gets elected they better start packing and move back in with Goldman Sachs and the Rothschilds.
