Contemplating psychedelics.?
I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammatical problems. Im tyiping this from my iphone keyboard. First of all, If you're going to try to lecture me about how bad drugs are, you might as well stop reading now. I'm looking for people that may have experience with mushrooms. Ive really been contemplating if I want to try them or not. I'm worried about having a bad trip or losing control. Any stories or help would be greatly appreciated. Here's some background knowledge on me if it matters:
I'm a 16 year old girl, a sophomore in highschool. My only drug experience is with weed and alcohol. I smoke nearly everyday, usually multiple times per day. I've witnessed a couple trips, but have never done it before. My brother and a few of my friends have tried it and I'm just really curious.
For those that say drugs ruin your life, f*** off. I'm ranked in the top 5% of my class with a 3.93. I was the only freshman to make varsity soccer last year, and I'm the captain of my club soccer team. I'm not trying to come off as cocky. I just don't like the "stoner" stereotype.
Keep it real. Thanks to all real answers <3

My whole family were by magic mushrooms, in a ditch, having tried to eat their own colons. The sideways people will come for you, and make you into hot pockets and feed you to their Honey Badger. Bit by bit.
And read "Finnegan's Wake" backwards to you while they do it.

Well of course here in Australia, this last week, we just had two people died, and a third is in hospital waiting for a liver transplant as a consequence of eating the wrong sort of mushrooms!
I'm not telling you drugs will ruin your life. I'm just telling you that as a mental health professional working in the community health and welfare sector for many, many years, you do need to understand the possible dangers. If there's any history of schizophrenia in your family and you are a regular weed smoker you do run the risk of psychosis. We have a problem here in Australia in that our police don't really know how to deal with people having psychotic episodes very well, and the police have shot (dead) rather a lot of people in this situation!
Have you read Carlos Castaneda's Journey to Ixtlan? Some people said he never did any of the things he says he did in the book. It's all about his experiences with magic mushrooms.
Other people can tell you all the other sh-t. But I can't see you staying captain of your soccer team as a 16 yo girl smoking dope every day. I've been around too many young women who were dealing with the consequences of this sort of thing. Just saying.
