I got in an argument with someone about msg yesterday. They said that msg is naturally occurring. The FDAs website agrees that it is naturally occurring but that wouldn't be the first time the FDA gave false information.

My argument is that the sodium salt MSG is a synthetically derived chemical. While glutamate is a naturally found amino acid in us and many of the foods we eat, MSG is in no way natural.

Looking for intelligent opinions on the subject. I'm trying to find a definitive answer, even if that means I'm wrong. Thanks for reading and answering!

I apologize in advance for any spelling or grammatical problems. Im tyiping this from my iphone keyboard. First of all, If you're going to try to lecture me about how bad drugs are, you might as well stop reading now. I'm looking for people that may have experience with mushrooms. Ive really been contemplating if I want to try them or not. I'm worried about having a bad trip or losing control. Any stories or help would be greatly appreciated. Here's some background knowledge on me if it matters:

I'm a 16 year old girl, a sophomore in highschool. My only drug experience is with weed and alcohol. I smoke nearly everyday, usually multiple times per day. I've witnessed a couple trips, but have never done it before. My brother and a few of my friends have tried it and I'm just really curious.

For those that say drugs ruin your life, f*** off. I'm ranked in the top 5% of my class with a 3.93. I was the only freshman to make varsity soccer last year, and I'm the captain of my club soccer team. I'm not trying to come off as cocky. I just don't like the "stoner" stereotype.

Okay so there's this guy in my p.e. class. I think he's really cute and want to get to know him, but I never really get the chance to talk to him. I'm also really shy when I first meet people. I like this website because the guy who runs it, updates in nearly every day, and the music on it isn't mainstream like the crap on the radio. I really like mixtapes and upcoming artists. Today I took a Mucinex this morning for my sinus and congestion and what not. Since I've gotten home from soccer, I've felt really jittery, tired, and depressed. The depression may be from stuff that is happening in my life right now with girls spreading rumors about me, but I'm really scared right now, and I hate feeling this way.

I'm trying to get my mom to let me buy a bunny. I'm 14 and very responsible. I have two dogs that are very large. They have shown both aggresion, curiosity, and have been afriad of small dogs/animals. I would plan on keeping this bunny in my room. I would pay for the bunny itself, its cage, and all of the things it needs like bedding and food and water. I would also clean it's cage at least once a week. I have approached my mother a few times asking her if I could get one, but every time its the same response; no. She claims that the dogs will get it, she has allergies, and that she doesn't want to take care of it when i go to college. I thought finding a bunny I really liked would help intice her. I was planning on going to a local pet store, but as I was reading about bunnies, I decided the SPCA would be better for the bunny and for me. I looked online at my local SPCA and found 2 really cute bunnies. One of them was 5 and one was 2. I thought the 5 year old would be better but it said that he didn't really like to be held. The 2 year old enjoyed being held and was a female. It also said that she was blind in one eye. It is very unfortunate, but the reality is that most people do NOT want a bunny with 1 bad eye. I have spent the past hour crying because my mom will not let me get it, and I have a feeling that it will be put to sleep, because nobody will want it and it is taking up space. I love animals and really want to slave this bunnies life. Are there any suggestions on how I can persuade my mom?

Normally I buy skinny jeans at pac sun for $40 a piece. I would really like some jeans that are more compfortable but are also tighter. I wear a 0 or 1 depending on the fit. Thank you for all the answers I get :)

about the young chef's academy. do they have anything that is more advanced unlike pizza or smoothies. What are good ages to go. I am 13 but I cook extremely often I do most of the work when it comes to both Christmas and Thanksgiving dinner. I first made a compound butter when i was 9 and put it on the turkey everyone seemed to be impressed.
