How to make cutting less painful?

So I cut myself on my leg. Yeah I know bad boy, but I do it for a reason. Not because I want to die or because I'm angry, although that is actually how I discovered this (grew up abused now 19 btw). I do it for a medicalish purpose.

Cutting gets rid of my ocd and muscle spasms caused by turrets, as well as many other issues I have. I am also able to sleep at night which even medicine doesn't really help.

I do recieve medical help and take medication, however the medication only helps reduce and not get rid of the symptoms. Cutting completely eliminates my issues. I'm very clean and safe with how I cut, only on my leg, in one spot, and constantly cleaning it.

The only problem is its bloody painful. I don't mind pain after, which is what helps my problems, its the cutting part that hurts. Pain I feel later is good.

Any suggestions as to make it less painful? Please help. Thanks.

    Cutting isnt worth it, youncould loose your leg from infection. Now your brain is thinking its helping, but its not. Try tslking to your doctor about theraoy

    You really should not cut yourself, for whatever reason. If you have issues such as OCD (cutting will not help with this) and muscle spasms, then I would see a doctor (for your muscle spasms) and a psychologist (for treatment for your ocd), and I would tell them that the medication does not work.

    You can get medication to likely help your muscle spasms, and you can get therapy to cure your OCD, or medication to lessen it's effects; you need to tell your doctor that your current medication isn't working.

    While cutting may be a helpful short term solution, it is a very painful, and dangerous one (you can get an infection, since you obviously seem to have 1 spot you cut on, so you have marks around the area that seem to be open a lot). I would seriously go see a doctor and a psychologist in order to get better medication, or if you have trouble sleeping, you can get sleeping pills which would be far better than cutting yourself.

    If you are seriously feeling relief from cutting yourself, then you can certainly feel relief from other measures. So far, it seems like you are working with a placebo effect, you think it's helping, when it's really not doing anything -it's your brain (especially with OCD since it's a psychological issue). I would really go to a doctor and a psychologist to see what options you have -other than cutting yourself.

Or communicate on your buddies and kinfolk greater! Like what the hell?!?! slicing is to distract you from psychological soreness via changing it via psychological soreness! in case you do no longer like it to harm, DONT FREAKING DO IT!! God. There are people who quite decrease via fact they have a freaking concern, and that they do no longer prefer interest! THERE ARE FREAKING teenagers IN AFRICA WHO prefer interest! they have not got families, and that they are ravenous! Like quite! I hate while human beings use slicing for interest! have confidence me. while somebody spreads rumors and that they worsen every time. you do no longer prefer that interest and desire you on no account began "slicing" I freaking sense sorry approximately each freaking scar on my damn pores and skin. i'm honestly attempting to provide up. This **** isn't exciting! it quite is no longer a game! God. -.-
