Okay, so I'm 14 and there's a cute and popular guy who I think I'm starting to like. He's 17. BEFORE you think, "jailbait" or whatever, we're both committed Christians so sex is out of the question.

He: 
-looks at me a LOT. Literally everytime I come near

-kept staring at me from across the school basketball courts one day. We were sitting on the court in different groups and I noticed that he and his friends were staring at me. Then he turned around and sat with his back to me, but his friends kept looking.

-made a guy move to the back of the line when he tried to push in front of me at the cafeteria.

-highfived me after doing the above ^

We barely ever talk, but he looks at me a lot.

I don't want anything serious with him at the moment, but I want to make a move for now. What can I do that is subtle but cute?

or like..

"Are you going to ____ thing?"

"Heyyy, just curious are you a Christian?"

idkk...if he high fived you, then it seems like you could just talk to him about something..
Perhaps in basketball talk to him?  idk the best way is like to just casually talk to him

flirting during basket ball would be like softly tossing the ball at him and asking for it back/telling him he's sweaty or good or buff

if you want to be direct just ask for his number, and hopefully he's man enough and not a little girl like all these other guys and texts you first
