Help with weight gaining, best answer gets 10!?
Im 16 years old, 6 foot and 147 pounds
I have the fastest metabolism in the world, and no matter how much i eat i dont seem to gain weight, my wrestling season is going to end in 2 weeks, and I would like to gain at least 15 pounds of muscle, and weigh around 165 to 170 next year.
Besides eating more(a lot more) does anyone have some specific tips for weight gain? Like are there certain weight training lifts I should focus on, or is bodyweight better than weights? Im just looking for an array of options anything helps.
Best answers gets 10!
My lifts are maxing 315 on deadlift and squat, and 185 on bench,.

If you're skinny, and you always have been, chances are you have a hard time gaining weight if you want to.
You've got a few things that prevent you from gaining weight:
1) A fast metabolism. The only way to get around this burn-everything-you-eat metabolism is to eat more than your system has the capacity to burn.
2) Higher percentage endurance muscle fiber vs. strength muscle fiber. There are two big types of muscle fibers. One is really good at aerobic exercise (if you're me, you have a lot of this). The other is strength fiber. Increasing body mass requires you to avoid endurance training as much as possible, especially during the first three weeks. You must lift weights to increase your proportion of strength muscle fiber. Heavy weights.
3) Your body proportions make some exercises difficult to do, if not impossible, without injuring yourself. The standard overhead barbell press will hurt my back, for example. This is because I have long arms, a short torso, and really long legs. I have to hold the barbell a different way than Ah-nold does. Avoiding injury will help you stay on the weight-gaining bandwagon.
4) A lack of knowledge. Previously, you didn't know what the price really was to gain weight. This instructable should square that away.

Best thing to do is eat SPECIFIC foods that help build muscle, such as: Proteins
Meat, poultry, fish,
eggs, milk, ...
Carbs
Brown rice, oats, whole
grain pasta, quinoa, ...
Veggies
Spinach , broccoli,
tomato, salad, carrot, ...
Fruits
Banana, orange, apple,

butter, nuts, flax seeds, ...
Gain Weight. You'll never look
muscular weighing 140lbs at 6". No
matter how much training you do.
Check the guide on how to gain weight
for skinny guys. Here's the most
important part.
Eat Calorie Dense Foods.
100g raw spinach is 25kcals.
But 100g raw rice is 380kcals.
Eat pasta, oats, olive oil, mixed
nuts, etc.
Get Stronger. Increase your
Squat to at least 300lbs .
Muscle size is directly related
with strength gains. You got to
get stronger to build muscle.
Drink Whole Milk. If you
don’t bother gaining some fat,
drink 1 gallon whole milk daily
on top of your current food
intake. You can gain 25lbs in 1
month if you combine this with
3 weekly Squat sessions. (Squats) stronglifts.com/how-to-squat-with-proper-technique-fix-common-problems/

Don't do any cardio, just lift. Also, it is really easy to gain weight by eating protein bars every hour. You will gain weight, no matter how fast your metabolism.

Try to eat a lot of meat, like steak/eggs. Protein bars help too, but too many will give you harsh pains during workouts. So just keep to your regular routine while adding more of these to your life.
