How can people subscribe to me on Facebook?
I have a few subscriptions myself that I follow on facebook, but for a while i've been trying to work out how people can subscribe to me. I don't own a group or a business, I don't know if that makes a difference, but I want to allow people to follow my updates. On some of my friends they got 'subscribers' following them, then on other and on mine it just says 'subscriptions', I've been through the help chart of Facebook and it didn't help.

How do I get my friends' status updates via text message?
First activate mobile texts for your phone if you haven't done so already.
After you’ve activated Facebook texts:
Open the Account dropdown menu at the top right corner of Facebook and choose Account Settings.
Click the Mobile tab at the top of the page.
Add friends you want to subscribe to in the "Whose status updates should go to my phone?" section. You'll receive text messages when friends you list update their statuses.
To unsubscribe from someone's updates, reply "unsubscribe" when you receive a text message update from that person.

All of your friends will automatically be subscibed to you unless they have chosen to unsubscribe.
The chance of your post appearing on thier homepage is based on number of likes and comments it has, as well as how often you communicate with that person on facebook, etc.
It will always appear in the 'recent updates' box though.
