Why do Liberals expect conservatives to think Newt's infidelities matter...?

When their entire liberal media tapestry (including actors, comedians, musicians) didn't think Clinton's infidelities mattered even though it occurred while in White House...not (decades earlier) and continue defending Clinton?

I recall plenty of these types portraying Clinton as a suave, charming, PIMP, that was irresistible. I recall quite a few comical, opinionated types even suggested that Clinton could charm them into a homosexual encounter against their current straight sexuality?.

Do liberals, particularly on Y/A, not see how dumb and manipulated they themselves are?

Update:

It was decades ago.. Democrats are gettin 0 points for ever talking about anything that matters.

See...The problem is Liberals don't hold themselves up as the most "moral" party. We don't claim to do God's will. We don't claim that God told us to run for President.

The GOP contenders did. And their voters do as well...And they gave a standing ovation to Newt for fighting back against being called out for sinning by the woman he wronged.

i think of i'm quite properly-versed on historic past myself and that i'm additionally a notably stable observer of politics and politicians. i'm additionally somewhat older than Mr. Gingrich. the two events traditionally have had liberal and conservative wings and there has been varied overlapping between them. i think of what Newt grew to become into maximum possibly attempting to do grew to become into to unify Republicans and Democrats. college segregation grew to become into ended decrease than the Eisenhower administration. The Civil Rights legislations grew to become into exceeded some decade later decrease than the Johnson administration. most of the main effective supporters of persisted segregation have been Democrats. a lot of people who fought toughest for integration have been Republicans. jointly as I disagree with a lot of Roosevelt's regulations, i do no longer fault him for loss of management skills. He grew to become into between the suitable leaders ever to occupy the White abode. at present's Republicans come from many states different than the Deep South. We tend greater again from rural u.s. than city. we'd like freedom from government better than we'd like a nanny state and we'd like decrease taxes and larger autonomy at decrease levels of government. States rights isn't basically the choose of the Confederacy, it extremely is a factor and parcel of what's interior the form. All that mentioned, i will vote for Gingrich if he's nominated via the GOP next 3 hundred and sixty 5 days. He does not be my first decision, yet i can assist him over Obama.

It's kind of glass houses situation. Democrats don't tend to preach to everyone else how they should live their lives so they are not guilty of the hypocrisy of Republicans when they fall short.

Most Liberals would not have a problem voting for Newt based solely on infidelity (there are a million other good reasons). We are just surprised that the holier than thou crowd seems to be able to look the other way.

Oh yeah, Newt's quite the charmer. Keep your pants on ladies.

First of all, jokes are jokes. Don't get your panties all in a bunch about it.

Second of all, why do we expect you to think that Newt's infidelities matter?? Because you are the party of "family values." Because Newt was preaching family values and lambasting Clinton at the same time he was cheating on his wife. Because we expect you to at least thinly veil your hypocrisy!!

P.S. I surely don't defend Clinton's womanizing and don't really know anyone who does. He has been thoroughly roasted and punished for it. What more do you expect? You want us to take him out and lynch him??

Well, the theory is that Clinton never came out and preached about the 'virtues of the traditional family' and so on, and that Newt did come out and preach about it. So they look at it as hypocrisy and saying one thing but doing another. Clinton on the other hand was never gung-ho about preaching about the family and so on. He had one, but he just didn't make it an issue of morality, etc.

because just recently the cons totally freaked out in regards to Anthony Wiener's poor behavior.

they went on-and-on about how awful it was

but now that they want a scum-bag for President they seem to have forgotten their moral outrage

I don't recall Clinton wanting to put the police in my bedroom or in my doctor's office. Newt wants to legislate morality he has no intention of following himself.

You keep your Newt, I'll keep my freedom.

lol... you said "cons don't care because liberals didn't care in the 90s"...

so you're saying that you will change your mind based on what liberals and the media do?

well, I guess we all knew that, but thanks for the confirmation...

yet... liberals are dumb and manipulated? lololol

What ever happen to Cons strong family values ? Do Cons pick and choose who's values count and who's don't. Seems that way

It was the RIGHT WINGERS who came down on Clinton (remember "impeach"?).

Now you expect us to ignore Gingrich's same issues?

    How moronic.
