these are the things i've found help me when losing weight:
1. low carb diet: meaning cut out all of the white flour products - white bread, white pasta, etc. - and white rice. you want to eat only brown rice, whole grain bread, whole grain pasta, whole grain tortillas, etc.
2. raw food diet: you want to eat a high percentage of raw foods - i.e salads for dinner, fruit smoothies for breakfast, fruit with your yogurt for snacks
3. no sugar:(slimfast has sugar) sugar makes the body store fat..... as soon as you stop consuming sugar your body will start burning the fat it already has. stop eating sugar and start eating healthy sweetener substitutes like "stevia" (this is a natural sweetener taken from a plant that is sweeter than sugar).
4. healthy fats: studies show you need to eat fat to burn fat. you need to be consuming monounsaturated fat/omega-3 fatty acids..... this can be found in olive oil, ground flax seeds, chia seeds, salmon, sardines, oil fish, avocado, and dark chocolate (you want to stick with cacao powder, cacao nibs which can be found from amazon.com from navitas naturals brand). studies have also shown that eating a healthy fat with every meal helps to burn and target belly fat (google "the flat belly diet" for more information on this) - opt to eat olive oil with savory dishes such as salads and soups and ground flaxseed or chia seeds with sweet things like oatmeal, cereal, yogurt parfaits, smoothies, etc.
5. three hour diet: you want to eat meals every three hours in order to fuel your metabolism and start burning calories faster. this will get your metabolism burning like a furnace by feeding it every three hours.
6. cheat on your diet: it's important to eat healthy throughout the week but also to take the two days off and have days where you eat normal foods - even junk foods - this will ensure that your metabolism does not slow down (as your body will think it's going through a starvation mode if you lower calories throughout the week - the body will slow down metabolism in order to prepare for a famine - by eating higher calories and more fat throughout the weekend the body will be tricked into thinking it isn't starving as caloric intake goes up the body's metabolism will keep burning at optimum level and burn more fat and calories)
read about it here:

7. green tea: green tea acts to rev up the metabolism and helps the body burn fat. studies have shown that people who consume green tea lose more body fat than those who don't. opt to drink green tea with or between every meal 4 - 6 cups a day. also green tea acts as a diuretic - helping the body to rid itself of excess water in order to beat bloating which can hide any striations in muscle tone. green tea also works as an appetite suppressant.

8. strenght training: also - and this is very important - start putting on muscle..... lean muscle burns more calories at rest than exercise - just by having muscle on your body you are burning extra calories because muscle needs to burn calories in order to stay alive..... therefore eat lots of protein before and after every workout.
also.... i follow "the perricone diet", "the flat belly diet", "the low carb diet", "the raw food diet", and "the three hour diet".... i've taken principles from all those diets and compiled my own and have seen success on it....
so if you want to see what i eat here's the link:

Decrease the rice and pasta. Don't do it utterly tho. Your frame nonetheless demands carbs to position thoroughly. Increase the beef on your nutrition. it will have to counter act the load loss. I do not know for those who consume plenty of sweet and matters prime in sugar however for those who do reduce the ones. Sugar is HUGE in carbs. lol Do matters like.... Instead of a bagel for breakfast have a pair eggs. My dad needed to pass on low carb and those are matters his health practitioner advised him. Try making matters like Meatloaf, Roast with vegetables Get a gradual cooker (crockpot) and get a number of recipes for it. This factor is a saviour. Best roast I've ever had was once made in a gradual cooker. Cuts again on cooking too. Also you'll check out googling "low carb recipes" you can get TONS of stuff.

Make goals is the first step to lose weight. Think about what you're trying to achieve and why you'd like to achieve it. This can help you focus your efforts so that you can get where you'd like to be more quickly. It can be as simple as talking to someone about your plans to lose weight and get more healthy, or you could write down your goals in a notepad that you keep with you. Whatever works for you to build and maintain your focus.

Just keep sticking with it. It took me 5 months to lose 20 pounds. You didn't gain all that weight in a week so you can't expect to lose it quickly.

Just keep doing all this ...you will surely lose alot of weight but it does not get it in a week..It takes some time.

Taking a meal replacement protein supplement and an unapproved diet pill certainly won't work.
You know the "face exercises" won't work but the diet pills and shakes will?
As for Hillary Duff the thing that worked for her was she grew out of puberty into young adulthood.
Plus we don't get to choose where we lose weight. It comes off from all over the body. The good news for you is weight loss is visibly noticed in the face and fingers first.
80% of weight loss is diet.
You can eat a healthy diet and lose weight.
You can eat a healthy diet and exercise and lose more weight.
You can exercise and eat a poor diet and not lose and even gain weight.
A good healthy diet high in fiber, lean meats, eggs, complex carbohydrates, whole grains, antioxidant foods, healthy beverages and low in added sugar and salt help people lose weight, lower cholesterol, increase energy, improve brain function, lower blood pressure, reduce cancer risk and have a more positive lifestyle!
You need to eat a lot more food and a lot more fiber!
Diets that exclude foods from any food group are fad diets and do not lead to permanent weight loss or solve any other health issues.
First, try to kick your fiber intake to 40 grams of both soluble and insoluble fiber.
Whatever you do, get your fiber from your food, not from a jar.
Fruits and vegetables have good fiber in them. A high fiber diet increases the metabolism.
Try a breakfast cereal with at least 20% of recommended daily allowance of fiber in it. They are usually low in sugar so there is a double benefit. Blueberries or raspberries on top add more fiber and antioxidants. But fresh or frozen, not the kind in syrup.
Raw nuts are a great source of fiber, healthy fats, and antioxidants. Avocados are the best.
Lots of beans, peas, and grains are high fiber. Whole grain breads. Fiber kicks up the metabolism so you actually burn more calories. These foods will give you more gas in the beginning but if eaten daily, the bacteria in the digestive tract will elevate lowering the gas output.
This will get you on the path for a healthy daily bowel movement. This helps clean the system and aids healthy digestion.
I know it goes against everything you've heard but eating lots of the right foods will actually help you lose weight!
Next, take an age appropriate basic daily multivitamin. Don't look at your multivitamin as nutrition but more as an insurance policy. Think of it as filling in the gaps in your daily diet as opposed to a primary source of nutrients.
You have to drink lots of water to be healthy. But you can disguise it. Fill your glass all the way full with ice before pouring low sugar beverages. Try iced green tea with a splash of orange juice in it for sweet. More antioxidants. Add lemon juice to water for flavor. Slice up a cucumber and float it in pitcher of water. Gives it salty fresh taste. But you must drink up to 100 oz of water daily to help your body get rid of waste and the natural toxins.
Last, you need to get 7-10 hours of quality sleep depending on your age. All recent sleep studies report a connection between poor sleep and weight gain.
You must combine a healthy diet with exercise to multiply the benefit. Whether an hour a day in the weight room or just a 30 minute brisk walk every day, the added benefit of a regular exercise program really do increase and accelerate healthy weight loss.
I lost 30 pounds in 5 months by spending my money at the grocery and gym and have kept it off for two years now. Less than 3% of people that attempt weight loss lose it and keep it off for two years. It is not easy. It is a lifestyle change.
Good luck and good health.
