If a person is innocent......wouldn't they fight for their cause?

I'm just wondering on peoples opinions. If someone had accused you of something would you argue your point out or just say nothing and blank them hoping they'd come round???

Generally I try and justify myself when innocent - unless its not worth wasting my breath because I don't care what you think.

Most people who are confronted with an accusation and avoid the subject are indicating guilt. I've known lots of people who have done this and they turned out to be guilty - including ex girlfriends who cheated.

Unless this person doesn't care what you're saying or your accusation is incredibly insane (such as accusing him/her of being a space alien) - they are probably guilty.

    Sorry. Go with your gut!

It depends. How much do you stand to lose by fighting? Let's say you got a ticket for for speeding. The ticket cost $100. Fighting it means you have to pay a lawyer $1000. Is it worth it to fight? It sounds like your situation is of a personal matter, but the theory is is same. How much do you stand to lose by fighting it? Is anything gained? Does anyone get hurt either way? this may sound stupid to you but honestly there are probably more important battles to fight. The military has a term called "acceptable loses".

It really and unfortunately depends on a lot of things. The utmost being how much will you lose if you fight? How much more powerful and influential are the people making the accusations and do you lose more by seeming to 'protest too much"? However if by keeping silent you lose your respect for yourself then YOU HAVE to speak up. But if all you lose is a bit of irritation and can shrugh it off.. go for it. Consider your options and sometimes there are smarter ways to stand up for yourself without having a head on argument.

Which would you rather do -- plead guilty to a crime and receive a fine, or sit in jail for six months fighting the charge? Most people just plead guilty.

    not all the time.

sometimes people just get tired of fighting and tired of trying to convince everybody of the truth. Why waste so much time trying to convince somebody of your innocense when you know they wont believe you?

I would fight for my cause, if you are innocent you will want to prove it, Good Luck

I did argue my point and got turned on....so now I lay in waiting and hope that one day they wake up.....
