What is the most times a player has followed a former teammate to a new team?
Hi
Often players look good to begin their careers because of a teammate at the junior level. Does anyone know of a someone that has basically stalked a former teammate in the attempt to get on the same team and regain a bit of credibility? Life is all about credibility and once you lose it you quickly become Gomez, a big number and no productivity to show for it.
Thank You

Surprised no one has mentioned Marty McSorley and Wayne Gretzky. McSorley was known as Gretzky's bodyguard. He came to the Oilers in '85, where Gretzky was playing, then were traded together to the Kings in '88. McSorley was traded to Pittsburgh in '93, but soon after, LA made a trade which saw McSorley's return to protect Gretzky.
In all, they played 11 seasons together.

Jarri Kurri didnt exactly follow Gretzky to the Kings but did get traded there after refusing to continue on with the Oilers a year after Gretzky got traded.

Well this isn't former teammates, but Scott ended up going to the Ducks to play with his brother Rob (Niedermayers).
Darren McCarty eventually came back to play to Detroit in 08, and I think If I remember correctly Draper had an influence on his decision. (Including telling him to get rid of his Green Mohawk Hair).
Not sure on loosing the credibility part for these 2 examples, but their all i can think of at the top of my head....(I'll come back and add more if I can think of any...I don't like to CHEAT and look up the answers, I'd rather just try and come up with my own answers all on my own).
