Serious question about public restrooms.?
So one of my fears is using the bathroom (#2) when my roommates are in our apartment. This leads to me having to hold it which, as you probably know, is not good. I was wondering where a good public place to go to when I have to do my business would be besides like a restaurant. For example, all I can think of is a hotel lobby bathroom, though those are usually pretty nasty. I am being totally serious too, and don't tell me to just go in our apartment because I can't - it is a huge phobia of mine and yes I will seek counseling but until then what am I supposed to do? Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should go?

I know how you feel, when I first moved into my dorm I was worried about the bathroom situation. I shared a bathroom with 10 other girls, and it was an open bathroom, no door, two sinks, two showers, two stalls, so anyone could come in while you were going to the bathroom. I would only go if no one was in there. But if you're in an apartment I imagine you have a private, one person bathroom. I know you wrote not to tell you to just go, but I'm going to tell you anyway, just go! It's not as embarrassing as you think, your roommates do it too! That must get really uncomfortable, and as you said it is not good for you! Your roommates are not going to judge you for going to the bathroom. If you found out your roommate was holding it for public places just like you what would you tell them? I imagine you could care less what they do in the bathroom, and I'm sure they don't care what you do either! I'm my *non expert* opinion, one of the best ways to get over a phobia is desensitization. Maybe just try going in the bathroom, pretending to go, but really aren't. What's the worst that could happen? Nothing! Just slowly start spending more time in the bathroom, and I bet you will get to a point where you will be able to go! But if you're really desperate, I would say a library is a good place to go. That's where I would go sometimes.
Best of Luck!

I am really imbareassed to poop in front of people to. I usually try to not poop at school so I end up holding it in an when I do the terds get all impacted an huge an it herts to poop. Their is some great places to poop if you don't want to get seen by you're room mates. This one time we was staying with some friends of my mom an I didn't want to poop in there toilet, so I went out in the woods an took a dump. No one evar new I did it, so if their is a forest near where you are, go out their an poop.

Espresso shops or quick meals areas. They are more accepting of humans walking in and utilising the toilet, no longer like in a restaurant where you have to buy some thing. Also public restrooms in some cities, in locations like malls or educate stations. If you reside close a public library, they've toilets, as do Wawas/gas station form areas. I have a tip for you... Are attempting turning on the bathe in the lavatory whilst you go quantity 2, then your roommates cannot hear you! They just suppose you're showering! Then pour slightly of scented shampoo into the sink or rest room so the room smells like shampoo.
