Serious question about public restrooms.?
So one of my fears is using the bathroom (#2) when my roommates are in our apartment. This leads to me having to hold it which, as you probably know, is not good. I was wondering where a good public place to go to when I have to do my business would be besides like a restaurant. For example, all I can think of is a hotel lobby bathroom, though those are usually pretty nasty. I am being totally serious too, and don't tell me to just go in our apartment because I can't - it is a huge phobia of mine and yes I will seek counseling but until then what am I supposed to do? Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should go?

that is silly. Fart proudly. If you think you need to mask the noise, run water while you go. If you're ashamed of the smell, flush quickly. Everybody's poo stinks. The door on the bathroom is all the privacy you need normally. Public restrooms are not very clean, just semi anonymous. Keep that counseling appointment.

The mall around here always tends to have cleaner public restrooms than any other place. There is that or the rest rooms in grocery stores. ........... but really it is strange to be afraid to go to the bathroom in your own house.

I don't know if you have Giant grocery stores (open 24 hours) or Lowes where you live, but they both have really nice bathrooms.

You can rent a porter potty or something or just go to a gas station if you don't mind just put toilet paper on the seat
