how can i raise a baby and run a business?

Is it at all possible to have/raise a baby and run a business?

I suppose anything is possible if you put the work in. Are there women out there made of steel?!

How do you do it?

(considering having a baby, 32yrs old)

Update:

I have run a successful Business for 7yrs, it continues to grow, mainly from a 'base' but I do travel

your right: anythings possible. maybe consider a babysitter YOU TRUST. better yet somebody you know and trust. kids dont like to be away from there mother so you can maybe have a little time for your baby, also babies tend to take away most of your time but they are sleeping more than half the day so you have plenty time :) work something out that yo think is right!

Looks like you are having a big load on your back. I have seen women make a separation room from the store. Maybe 5 by5 foot. Blankets for walls. I do not recommend sending your baby to daycare or babysitting ALL the time. When you do this, the child gets attached to the sitter and your relationship is shaky. That doesn't mean you can't send them to daycare though. Daycare is great, but I think that there is a new law about babies getting shots to go to daycare. :( As for the business, if you get home late make sure you spend quality time with the baby. Rocking singin humming. It helps. Good luck with your business, and give your baby a hug from me! :) God bless you!

I had been an au pair of a women that used to travel a lot for work, and I stay at home with the baby, he was 2 months old when I started, till 14 months old, it does work but you have to live with the idea that someone is being part of your baby's life and seeing the first time he does everything.

She was sad when the baby want to be with me and cry when she took him, so that you have to keep in mind, the consequenses. Some women love work, others like me prefere spend time with the family.

I am pregnant at the moment, and decided to be a stay at home mom, but also will start soon a business, but will be trhu a website, and I will stay at home and work when the baby is sleeping.

I am 25, but if you are 32 I don't think you should whait anymore to have children, soon will be a risk pregnancy after 35.

I wish you all the best!

    Good luck
