How do I wash my grey and white hoodie?
I have this new hoodie this is white and several shades of grey. The white sections are getting very dingy. How should I wash it in order to restore the white parts and not affect the greys?

Just regular detergent should work fine. If you want to insure the white looks good, add a scoop of OxyClean. It won't affect the grey parts but will brighten the whites.

Simple solution...and BEST solution>>>get some Tide Stain Release Booster. Toss 1 packet into machine at start of wash when filling the tub. Use warm water. Not only will stains be gone first time...your whites come out bright as well as colors!! Awesome product!!! No more dinginess. A bag of 10 packets cost about $4. You use this along with your regular detergent; however, using Tide detergents are the best as they are 6 times stronger than any cheap detergent.
This product great for whites or colors....and if you find yourself having to mix a load of both...you can always add a Shout color catcher sheet.

Wash it with other Whites in machine, also use colour catcher, it's a sheet made by Punch that makes sure the colours do not run into another item. In other words it catches any colour.
Hope this works

I'm going to assume that the gray IS NOT bleeding into the white. Most garments are not made that way.
What is probably happening, the white is just not getting clean enough.
ALways wash the item with lighter clothes that do not bleed color, never anything dark.
Use a detergent that contains color-safe bleach. This will help to brighten the white without affecting the greys.
I would use cool, not hot water wash and cold rinse.

Just put it in a wash on it's own. I did this with an old teddy bear, same sort of problem. Worked perfectly :)
