If you want to stay on site then Disney has a booking engine that describes each hotel. I just don't understand why people make this so freakin complicated. Go look up a hotel and book it.

All of the Walt Disney World Resort hotels offer free transportation throughout the resort. Depending on the level (Value, Moderate, Deluxe) and location, there will be different forms of transportation (most commonly busses, but also water taxis, monorails, and even walking paths). So, all of the hotels are "convenient" since there is free transportation everywhere.
However, I would say that the "most convenient" hotels would be the Epcot Resort Area hotels (Boardwalk Inn/Villas, Yacht Club, Beach Club/Villas, Swan/Dolphin) because they are all within walking distance of Epcot (literally a few steps from your room), within walking distance (15 mins) or water taxi of Hollywood Studios, and centrally located within the Resort so bus rides to practically anywhere else (Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Downtown Disney, water parks, etc.) will all be 15 mins or less.
If you plan to spend most of your time at Magic Kingdom, then choose either Contemporary, Polynesian, or Grand Floridian because the monorail stops at these hotels and can take you to Magic Kingdom (2-10 mins depending on hotel) or to the TTC where you can get a monorail to Epcot.

You've got three resorts on the monorail line, and they are most definitely not dives (Disney wouldn't run a dive, frankly): The Contemporary, The Polynesia, and the Grand Floridian (which is more upscale than the other two.) I've stayed in the Contemporary and the Grand Floridian; you can't beat the convenience because the monorail goes right to your hotel.

Its not that hard. Honestly, does nobody do a search anymore. Go to the Disney website. It list EVERY hotel in detail with pictures. They have them divided up to make it easier The cheapest would be the Value and the most expensive are obviously the deluxe. Pick the one you like. They ALL have free Transportation to and from the park. They are all FAR from being a dive. The values are better then most hotels found off property.
Oh and the words are spelled convenient and transportation.

All Disney World resort hotels are convenient to either one of the parks or to Downtown Disney.
All Disney World resort hotels have convenient transportation to the parks or to Downtown Disney.
There are NO Disney World resort hotels that are dives. You don't pay prices like that for dives.
Now, if you are talking about off site resorts, then all bets are off. I've never stayed off site when going to Disney World.

Okay, well, you're not going to be able to narrow it down much because ALL of the Disney World hotels have free transportation by bus, boat or monorail (depending on the resort you choose, but bus transportation is the most common), and NONE of the Disney World hotels are anything NEAR a dive. You just have to decide which amenities you want, what your budget it and which hotel appeals to you the most. You can check them all out here:

None of them are dives. The least expensive ones are called Value resorts. Then you have the mid-priced ones called Moderates. And if you want to spend a lot more than stay at a Deluxe.
They all have their own free transportation to and from the parks. If you are flying you also have the option of having Disney's Magical Express (a big fancy bus) pick you up at the airport, and drop you off at the end of your stay for free.

All Disney hotels are in Disney
All Disney hotels have buses or monorails that go from park to hotel and Viceversa
I don't understand what you mean by that?
Anyways, I think that narrowed it down (sarcasm).

You are describing all Disney resorts. All are around Disney theme parks and on Disney property.
ALL have free Disney transportation to all Disney theme parks/.water parks and Downtown Disney
You do not need a car staying at ANY Disney resort.
