Does anyone know where I can buy a simple wine sample pack, preferrable 6 of 3 white and 3 red or blush?

Ask your local store that sells wine. They may have some. Or you can build your own. The place I go to is local and the other is about 70 miles away. They both have specials. One that is farthest usually has something like pick 3 for $30. Sometimes they have a larger sell like say 6 or 10 or 12 at a time. The place that is close to me, usually just has different sales on very drinkable wine.

You could try www.atasteofcalifornia.com if they're still around. I used to be a member and they had those mix and match packs. The best part was they had some of the small batch wineries that had great wine, but not a huge advertising budget yet. I remember getting a Markham in there once long before it was a $40 bottle. You could give them a try.
