Christians who believe the bible is literally true: What else must be true?

That is correct, I do not. The earth is 10,000 years old or less.

Creation follows the known laws of science and physics while evolution wants to teach, as fact yet it is still a theory since no one was present during creation, that it goes against ALL known laws of science and physics.

Can you give a good explanation why blood vessels are being found in the fossils of dinosaurs. The majority of dinosaurs that lived were the size of sheep. Being reptiles, they grew and continued to grow as long as they lived. Evolution cannot overcome the exponential odds of the perfection of the universe. It cannot explain that if any single part of our universe is changed by fractions, Life cannot exist.

It also has no explanation for the Cambrian explosion. Heck, Darwin himself said his theory fails if there are not found any intermediate fossils- there are none. And, if in a short(geologically speaking time period) there are an incredible number of creatures, thus the Cambrian era. There are no known locations for the geologic table of stratas.

Sorry, logic dictates to me that creation has more veracity and proof than does evolution.

I thought the bible was an overview of things. Great time periods are often

missing. Often time periods are compressed, because after all, the purpose

of the bible is to give that overview of life, and show people who God is,

how to come into relationship with Him.

Yes, I wouldn't want to DISMISS excellent work, but I also don't condone

or accept evolution since I believe that is a very superficial way of

viewing things.

Most Christians believe the Earth is approximately 6000 years old. If you would like to read the first few chapters of Genesis that would probably explain to you why. I personally don't care so much about how old the Earth is or the fact that people (apparently) enjoy arguing about it. I don't really believe the Earth could be millions of years old, but at the same time I have a hard time believing it to be 6000.

It makes more sense that beings from another planet used their DNA on a few gorillas, the rest was a product of nature. Also I am more inclined to go with 4.5 billion instead of six thousand years as far as the age of the earth.

Study's can be done all day long, but the point is...God made our World. Evolution does have a factor in our lives as there are changes in our environment all the time. So, Evolution is something all should know about. BUT...not to be taken into consideration on who made the World. If you want to believe that, then go to the Dead Sea Scrolls...they are truthful documentations too.

It is a total waste of time for any man/woman of science to engage in a rational dialogue with religious people, especially Christians!

The Muslims lost any momentum they had hundreds of years ago! Now they don’t hesitate bombing themselves up with plenty of people around, especially infidels. They can’t wait to get to Paradise to collect their promised 72 virgin girls!

The Jews hold the greatest number of contributions to our human society more than any other ethnical group, but sh*t happens! They also wrote the Bible stories that Jews, Christians and Muslims use to bring so many wars, pain and suffering into our world! Religion is deeply rooted in our society and it will not vanish overnight!

Most Christians, including some popular US Presidential candidates like Pat Robertson really hate science because it contradicts the Bible stories that they preach.

Nobody in this ONE NATION UNDER GOD can possibly imagine what America would be like with Pat Robertson as President… our next President may even be a MORMON wearing magic underwear who won’t drink coffee or Coca-Cola!

Pat has MILLIONS of Christians supporting him! They believe that SCIENCE is a Communist plot to hurt America!

SCIENCE doesn’t have any final answer yet. Science looks at the evidence and draws conclusions, while Christians read some of the Bible stories and look around for supporting evidence or create one.

Real science is still wearing diapers. The evolution theory is being updated as new evidence is found!

Up until recent history, Christians imposed their views on science by law! Saint Paul gave them that incentive!

Most Christians are common people who don’t have the foggiest idea of the humongous size of our universe and what mass, time and space is all about. The Judeo/Christian/Muslim religion work with a small 6,000 year old universe composed of a Babylonian firmament for a sky and a primitive flat Earth for the center of their universe.

I am a Christian fundamentalist that believes in evolution. But, I don't believe your hysterical claim to have found a link between humans and apes. It seems like a worldwide leap of logic to assume that we have somehow come from animals whose only functions were to kill, eat and reproduce to become thinking and reasoning animals who can somehow transcend life as we know it. It simply doesn't add up.

Read and understand the Bible to see for yourself. Your opinion of Christians is incorrect, we believe exactly what is said in the Bible, but that doesn't mean we don't believe in scientific FACT. Evolution, for example, is not a scientific fact, but a theory.

The bible has hidden meaning behind the text

We dismiss any so-called knowledge that is based on lies. The Bible is the proven inspired word of God. It has been proven to be true to all true Christians, and that is why we hold it dear.
