What Xbox Gaming Headset should I get?

My old Turtle Beach X11's broke, so It's time for a new headset. I want the astros a40, but those are 250 bucks. My alternative was the tritton ax720, which are 150. Are the a40s worth the money? Also, I thought I heard the Trittons mic has had problems in the past. Is that true? Which one should I get? Keep in mind, I talk to people a lot, so I would like the mic to be good.

I would recommend you to go for the X41, in the lowest price you would get the same quality of the astros so you should not think about wasting such amount on the over rated head sets. Here is a review from an owner of the headset which I found out to be helpful:

And if you decide to go for this headset than from my bookmarks, here you would be able to find it under 150:

I have the Tritton AX Pro, it is by far one of the best headsets I have ever bought. They are so much better than any Turtle Beaches, I know because I own a pair of X31's and they don't even compare to my Tritton AX Pro. The problem with the mic was that sometimes you would have to talk loud for the mic to pick your voice up because every time you tried to move the mic closer to your mouth it would just go right back to it's original position. But now they fixed that and now the mics are more flexible. Watch some unboxing and set up videos on Youtube, that's how I made my decision and some friends own them too.

i have the turtle beach x41s and i love them. they are wireless, and offer 7.1 surround which sounds great. battery life isnt too bad. before i got these i had a pair of tritons, i liked them but they were tight on my head and on my ears. that was the biggest complaint by consumers for the triton headsets. the x41s average between 140 and 120 bucks. i took back my tritons and traded for the x41s. best decision ive ever maid. ive had them now for about a year. the mic on the x41s is great also, i am a big talker and ive never had a problem with it. IF YOU RUN HDMI FOR YOUR CONNECTION YOU WILL NEED A MAD CATZ AUDIO ADAPTER TO HEAR AUDIO WITH YOUR HEADSET! costs about 20 bucks but as you had the x11s you prolly know this.

hm if you pay more than $5 for the abductor you are getting ripped off. The PX series is suppose to be good or just get the x12 which is wired.
