There's a bit of a backstory to this one. A couple weeks ago, my family started noticing internet problems. When we would click on a webpage, some times the pictures wouldn't load, or even the whole webpage would fail. But if we just reloaded it, it would be fine. We contacted our internet service provider, and they said we have a "hard wire" or something like that. Apparently there was something on the internet cord that caused it to be interrupted occasionally. So they came, and fixed that a couple days ago. Since then, I've noticed incredibly high ping while playing online games on my PC. When I go to Speedtest.net, it still says i have 60 ping, and my regular download speed. When I download something, It's normal speed. But when I play games, i have 200+ ping, sometimes even reaching 1000. How do I fix this? Do I need to call my ISP back again? Thanks

I need some new music to listen to, and Metal/Hardrock is my favorite genre. Some of the bands I love are Avenged Sevenfold, Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Skillet. Any suggestions? (BTW, I'm not a big fan of shrieking, I prefer shouting, or singing.)

I need HDMI in order to get surround sound from my astro a40s, but my tv is older than jesus, so I dont think It has an hdmi port. Is there some sort of an adapter for it? Can you please give me a link?

This was ok, but this is getting ridiculous. She calls me literally every hour when I get home, I never get any free time anymore! At all! She wants to hang out EVERY DAY after school! She always talks to me, all the time. If I can't hang out, if I have a lesson, or have to do a lot of work, she gets pissed and gets really sad and says I'm being a dick, just because I can't hang out. About 10 minutes ago, she said she was ugly, and I told her she wasn't, and she called me a dick. Also, when I talk to her on the phone, she can be REALLY annoying. I just want to kick something sometimes when I talk to her. But sometimes, I love talking to her, and she's great, so I really don't want to break up with her. What should I do?

My old Turtle Beach X11's broke, so It's time for a new headset. I want the astros a40, but those are 250 bucks. My alternative was the tritton ax720, which are 150. Are the a40s worth the money? Also, I thought I heard the Trittons mic has had problems in the past. Is that true? Which one should I get? Keep in mind, I talk to people a lot, so I would like the mic to be good.

I'm playing skryim, and doing the liberation of skyrim thingy, when I went to Malkreath or whatever to do that thing where you find evidence. i did that ****, and when I came back to the camp, all the stormcloaks are pissed at me! Everybody and their grandmother just starts attacking me, and I cant do **** about it! The quest itself tells me to talk to the guy who's swinging his big fat battleaxe at me. Did anyone else have this problem?

I'm talking to my friend on skype, and he keeps saying my mic is staticy, and I can fix it temporarily by unplugging it and plugging it back in, but it keeps coming back. anyone know how to fix it?

Every once in a while, my tooth messes up, and starts hurting whenever I bite something. It has a weird, cold, sensitive feeling to it, but only that one tooth. This happens from time to time, but it usually goes away witin a few days, I'm just wondering if anyone knows what this is, and how to possibly cure it. Thanks

My old wireless mouse died a few weeks ago, and I'm currently using a wired one. Does anyone have any recommendations for affordable, bigger mice I could get? I don't like the tiny ones, my hand cramps up. If any are better for gaming, which I do quite a lot on my PC, that would help out too. Thanks.

I'm starting to get into PC gaming, and I need a mic. When I play co op games, like portal, and minecraft with friends, we talk on Skype, and i thought i could just use my turtle beach x11's, which were meant for xbox, but do work on the PC. The problem is, my friend told me he was hearing a bunch of static, and could barely hear me, even with the mic really close to my mouth. I want a new mic for my PC, does anyone know of a good one i can easily use on skype, thats 50 dollars or less? thanks

Is there anyway I can hook up my xbox 360 up to my computer monitor? I don't really want to order anything expensive, and I dont really care about the high def, i just want to play it on my monitor.

I have always used a wireless router, but i want to switch to wired, with an ethernet cord. Ive never used one before, so this is a stupid question, but do i need a special kind of cord? or just a patch cord with two ends that have ethernet plugs?

I'm really getting into Youtube, and I need a good, low priced, safe editing program, maybe 150$ or less. I've heard of sony vegas, but the sony vegas 11 is 500 dollars! Is there like an outdated version of sony vegas for less, or a way to get it cheaper? I don't really want to torrent it, btw.

I was setting something up on the xbox, plugging my dazzle in, and the xbox was lying diagonally. The disc tray randomly opened, and went about half way out, before it hit the ground. I quickly straightened the xbox, pushing the tray back in. now, whenever I try to play mw3, I get about 1 min into a game, and it comes up with an error, saying, "disk is unreadable". Could the tray popping out have damaged the disk? how do i fix this? please help me.
