Depending how old it is it either has composite or coax. There are HDMI to RCA converters if you have composite but you won't get 5.1 or 7.1 surround sound. Best thing to do is upgrade your TV

Keep in mind that tv does not offer surround sound, it just display the video. You can get receiver to connect your DVD or Blu Ray disc player to using HDMI cable then connect the video from the receiver to the tv. You should upgrade your tv to an HDTV. The price have dropped, and they are now affordable. Hope this will help you out.

You can get AV receivers that will output surround sound from an HDMI source but you are more than half way to the price of a new TV for one. TV upgrade time.

That is a low end TV... Time to consider a newer better brand HDTV...(and look or ask about an HDMI port..) Makes a much better picture from a cable box or Blu Ray DVD..!

If your TV has coaxial digital and/or SPDIF out, you can get surround sound to your amplifier. Then just plug your headphones into your amp
