What was the first novel that you read?

Thinking about good books for a children's collection. I dont remember if mine was treasure island or alice in wonderland. All suggestions welcome!!

    for fun? Harry Potter and The Chamber of Secrets in Spanish when I was 10. for school? "El Palacio de Papel" (The Paper Palace) in Spanish (Obviously!!) by Jose Zafra when I was 9.
