Help me remember the name of that movie?
Not being able to remember the name of this movie is driving me nuts. Here's what I remember:
I'm pretty sure it was a 70's film. I only remember 1 human being in the film. He was the captain of a spaceship, tall, thin, blonde curly hair and was always dressed in a white jumpsuit. There were three "robots" on board as well. Each was kind of square in shape and rolled on tires (I think a better description would be trapezoid shaped). I seem to remember them being called 1, 2, and 3. I remember it was an agricultural type ship and I also remember the captain goes nuts... cabin fever for lack of a better term.
The spaceship was triangular shaped, with three spheres at each corner of the triangle.
I think the actor's name was Bruce, but I'm not sure of that.
Lastly, if I got any of the details wrong, please don't slam me.

Silent Running (1971/1972) -- starring Bruce Dern
Storyline:
The loner crew member of a spaceship harbouring Earth's last nature reserves goes renegade when he is instructed to jettison his beloved forests and return home. Accompanied only by three robots, he ponders the fate of his last pocket of nature and the murders of his fellow crew members in this far-looking speculative film.

It was Silent Running starring Bruce Dern. FYI, He's the father of Laura Dern from Enlightened. It was a painfully long movie to watch.

Whoa that's quite weird and wonderful...I reported this question and positioned that human beings already gave the finest answer and then I went on q107 (radio station) internet web site to work out some songs that they performed before contained in the nighttime and then I reported that at present they're playing "Starship Trooper" (definite)...I in simple terms idea that that replaced into an extremely weird and wonderful twist of destiny.
