Do You Agree With Me?

(I'm just posting this twice to get more opinions)

The thing that annoys me about SOME Ron Paul supporters..

I think he is a good man and has some good ideas but his foreign policy is terrible.

Why do they keep supporting a person that will not win? The goal is to regain the country. Why not support a candidate that will win? I just think Republicans should worry about just getting a Republican or Conservative in the White House, then start being picky. Ive heard some say they wont vote for anybody other than Paul when a candidate goes against Obama. That in my mind is basically supporting Obama's presidency. We need to worry about getting a Conservative or Republican in the white house not just getting Ron Paul there. Besides, he cant debate like Obama. Obama has a natural gift for debating, Ron Paul just isn't as smooth and persuasive. Do you agree with Me? If not please state your reasons. I am open to anyones opinion. I love good debates.

My Source- my 14 year old mind.

God bless

Update:

Yep. It is pretty damn obvious. Something upset little Ms. Communist? I hope you arent offended by my age. OH DEAR!

Update 2:

Thank you Daisy. I re read what I said and I DID make a mistake. Assuming a common goal was probably not the wisest thing to say. Thank you for being quick to point out my mistake.

Update 3:

Yes I do understand Foreign Policy. More than most adults.

Update 4:

Yep. I guess I am an idiot, I actually understand grammar enough to converse with people. I'm such an idiot!

Update 5:

Thank you Jim. They refuse to do what will get a Rep. or Conservative in the White House. Most of the Libertarians that I have encountered say that they would rather have Obama as President than another Candidate besides "Dr. Ronald Ernest Paul".

Update 6:

Well.. Thank you for your input everybody. Even you Liberals and Paul supporters.

God bless.

If you think the Republicans will do any better than the Democrats you're not paying attention.

George Bush was President less than 4 years ago. Funny how Republicans don't even mention his name when they are campaigning. It's like that guy was never in office. They go all the way back to Ronald Regan, still.

Obama doesn't have a natural gift for debating. He's got great speech writers, great P.R. people, and can read very well off of a tele prompter. Candidates don't have real debates anymore. There is way too much to lose. It's all scripted and choreographed by both sides before anything is ever shown to the people.

I will vote for anyone but Barrack Obama. I do wish Ron Paul stood a chance of getting the nomination. I'll admit he's not going to be the candidate. I think our current Foreign Policy of policing the entire world, of protecting other countries who don't pay a penny for our services, is really stupid.

    I disagree.

First, I'm flipped on Paul. I support his foreign policy 100%, and hate pretty much everything else (probably why I'm left and you seem to be conservative).

Second, always support the candidate you like best. Although the winner-takes-all american system makes that a stupid thing to do. Luckly I don't live there.

Thirt, Obama will crush pretty much any opponent. He's a good debater and has his economic results on his side. He also got the office, thus didn't face the dirt-throwing of the primairies. Elections for oval office are always staked in favor of the president.

Fourth, is there a right-wing alternative for Ron Paul? He's a good deal different than Romney, Santorum or Gringich (or however you spell his name).

Good for you to be so involved at 14. Don't listen to the naysayers, this is a good question. I happen to agree with those who stick with their candidate despite the fact they probably won't win. Support of a candidate represents more than just getting someone into office. It makes a statement as to where you stand as a voter, what you believe in, and what you will support in future elections. You're candidate may not win this election, but maybe more people will join you in your views over time, thanks to the attention your support for a candidate has brought to that candidate's views. This is how movements are started. It takes time and patience but eventually sticking to your guns can really make a difference.

I think Ron Paul (and his supporters) are so focused on destroying the Republican chances in the general elections they've never given any thought about another 4 years of the most anti- American idiot who ever ran, let alone WON the office!

Little person. You're probably sweet as a little family member. But Ron Paul is maybe the only one that you can trust over there. Im Liberal. But Have enough sense to realize that. To be a fact. I admit that foreign thing confuses me. But we don't need wars. We need understanding. If a nation wants trouble. Im sure we will oblige. Don't worry.

You're making assumptions that aren't necessarily true.

You say "The goal is to regain the country." That's not necessarily Ron Paul supporter's goal and you're arrogant to believe your goal's are everyone's goals. Ron Paul does not expect to win the election; he wants to change the way our government works.....whoever is in office.

Conservatives have become a joke, you know. They are apparently willing to sell out their standards and beliefs (pro life, anti same sex marriage, repeal Obamacare) by supporting a candidate who has in the not too far past supported a woman's right to choose, same sex marriage and practically wrote the blueprint for Obamacare (Mitt).

How can they look themselves in the eye when they've sold out their basic principles?

The answer to your question is no I do not agree with you. We are all given the choice to vote for who we feel best represents our values. To sell out because the media or someone else is telling you that your candidate is not electable is cowardly.

I'm not a Republican, I am a Libertarian, this year we have a chance with Paul running GOP.

You don't understand foreign policy if you believe his is horrible. By saying that, you would say that our foreign policy for the last 50 years has been successful.
