Is there a Spanish translation for the expression "I see"?

Question

In Spanish, I've kept saying "yo veo" for "I see!" or "I see what you did there!" and "tu veo" for "you see!" but I know it's incorrect and I need to find something to say instead. 

Is there a translation for that expression, or is there any other expression that is similar?

It's not "yo comprende",  it's yo comprendo (as you probably know)

He is correct though, in that you are trying to say "I understand."
If you are trying to say "I understand what you're saying," you would say, "yo entiendo"
If you are trying to say "I catch your drift" you would say, "yo comprendo," or "tu comprende"

Well, first, it's tÃº ves...not veo.  What you said is "I you see", which makes no sense. 

Are you trying to say "I understand"?  Because that's not "see".  

I see what you did there = veo que has hecho allÃ­. 

You see?  = Â¿Ves? 

I understand = entiendo.

The most natural thing to say is: "Entiendo" or "Comprendo".

My Spanish is pretty limited so I wonder why nobody has suggested " claro " ?

Well, since saying "I see" in that context means "I understand," 
it would be acceptable to say: "Yo comprende."
