Why do Dems think they are the party of the poor, yet their policies drive up the price on everything?

Democrats are the party of Absolute power of the Government. They don't care about the poor or anything else. The poor are just being used as a means to the Democrats' nefarious end.

I don't know why people think there is excessive inflation at the present time.

It's very important for the economy that there be some inflation, but inflation has been quite moderate for decades.

You must not remember the situation 30 years ago, where prices doubled every 4 years. Do you really think that there is anything you are buying now that costs twice as much as it did in 2008? The largest items people buy---houses and cars--- are cheaper now than they were then.

It's true that gas is AGAIN $4 a gallon, but that's likely to go down over the next few months.

We flooded the frozen credit market with loads of TARP cash in 2008. We haven't given that money back to the Fed yet. That's the legitimate reason we are seeing higher prices. Gasoline is in its own category though. Oil speculation is driving its price.

None of this has very much to do with the current administration. At the very least, any responsibility would have to be shared with the last administration.

I think most Democrat voters have good intentions, they are just totally clueless about reality.

When the Democrat politicians say "I'll help the poor, for free, just vote for me", the average Democrat voter says "that sounds nice" and they never put any thought into it. "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions", I think that is the most perfect description of a Democrat voter.

Democrat politicians are a different story. I think they are either mentally retarded (Joe Biden), or evil and straight from the depths of Hell (Obama). People like Obama have to know just how evil and damaging their policies are, there is too much proof for them to avoid.

You don't think prices go up because democratic policies provide more opportunity for people to acquire those resources and therefore increasing demand...

Really. Can you show us anything to support that argument?

Because I can sure as heck provide you with support for the argument that shows that prior to Reagan's trickle down, and Republican deregulation, it only took 1 income to maintain a household, where it now takes 2. I can also show you that wages for working people have stagnated and declined since Reagan's policy's were put into place, remain today, and have only been expanded upon.

Because democrats support the poor by keeping them enslaved with subsidies.
