Ssi and child support.?
Ok ill try to keep this short. He is on ssi and the two children combined get $83 a month because he is on ssi. He used to get that money and then give the mother an additional $17 to make 100. Recrntly it was told to the mother that he was not alliwed to get the money. It is direct deposit to mom. He says thats his child support and disnt owe her anything. He signed a document in 07 saying he would pay the mother 100 a month. So now is he behind on support since he stopped paying since the girls get the ssi money.

The court order for support overrules any agreement between the parents, and will therefore be the only one that is enforceable.

The document is not legal and the SSDI Child Benefit check is the child support she gets, that is it.
