How do I put a strap on a jazz guitar?

I just got a Samick JZ4 guitar.

There is only one fastener for a strap; near the neck.

Nothing on the end. Is this an oversight; or standard

for a jazz guitar?

    there should be an end pin at the bridge end of the body.

    Take it back to the dealer - don't install the pin yourself. If they forgot to block the inside of the guitar as well, the pin wont hold and you might damage the body of the guitar.
