Is there a way you can tell if one of your facebook friends is creating fake profiles to talk to you?

Say if someone who is your friend but not a close friend, makes another fake profile and pretend to be someone else, is there a way to tell if it's coming from the same IP address?

    There are a few things you can try.

    > Check to see if the person has any mutual friends.

    > Look at all of the person's details and make sure they all match.

    > Keep watch of the status updates or comments the person posts to decide if they're really something the person would say.

    Those are my suggestions for you.

    yeah there is an option to detect the computer ip address of the users

    check the birthdate, email and details and see if you an spot anything different x
