Spiritually Asking, Does anyone else get the spell checker saying every word is misspelled?

Mine does that off and on. Sometimes I can't access it at all, Other days it seems perfectly normal. I blamed my computer but now I think maybe the whole internet is having a nervous break down.

Yes it frequently does this ..... Some glitch in the works I suppose.

This time it tells me I have used too much punctuation (see row of dots linking a statement with an idea in my first line).

I ignore the silly thing and trust my own spelling as the spell checker in Yahoo Answers is set to American spelling and in England we spell many words differently - At the end of the day we did invent English as a language!

Yes, I can type three words and the Yahoo Spell Checker will say that I have 15 misspellings. ROFL

Yes! Thank goodness I am not the only one, English isn't my first language either so when it says like '58 misspelled words' I am thinking 'huh'. Oh and when I click on it a blank comes up. It's tells me I have too much punctuation at times

No - that's never happened to me.

There are several words that the spell checker does not recognize (and I've checked them in a dictionary to make sure they're spelled correctly) - but I've never had the problem that you mention.

Perhaps it's because I use Firefox?

Oh yes - it frequently shows I have 35 misspellings, which happens to match the number of words I have typed. Then, there's that punctuation monitor which says I "seem" to have a lot of punctuation. If Yahoo were simply to get rid of those functions it would not hurt my feelings.

I've had that happen. There have been times when it has pointed out 75 spelling errors on an answer that had less than 50 words.
