    "Faith without works is dead"

NOT THAT WE HAVE TO EARN OUR SALVATION WITH OUR WORKS, BUT RATHER IF THERE IS NO OUTWARD SIGN OF YOUR SALVATION THROUGH ACTS OF LOVE AND OBEDIENCE, THEN CHANCES ARE YOUR "FAITH" IS NOT REAL, OR HAS "DIED".

Faith without works = non-existent faith.

To put in in a bumpersticker, "Faith works".

Or, works are the product of faith.
