To the Christian Community: How does Jesus feel about homosexuality?

Now, I'm not concerned with the rest of the Bible, and I'm not asking this question to belittle those who don't approve of homosexuals.

What does "Jesus" tell you about homosexuality? Does "he" think it is acceptable for people to be homosexuals, or does he think it is abominable? How does that persuade you to think about homosexuality?

However you feel that you could answer for Jesus best, considering your "close, personal relationship" with him (pray, feel it in your heart, etc.) would be the preferred method to answering this question.

Thank you.

To be honest, and not exactly answering to the questions, I don't see how Jesus thinks it's wrong. I mean, yeah God said to 'go forth and multiply' but that doesn't mean our task as human is to reproduce, right? If there are people that are not getting married just to serve in the ministry that means we don't necessarily have to serve God via reproducing and hence it is not the most important thing to do to be married to one of the opposite sex, right? If so, then why does it matter what gender is your significant half if both of you are able to serve God together as a pair of homosexual partner? I don't think God would be so stingy as to nullify your faith and whatever you've done to serve Him just because of your sexual orientation.

I am in no position to speak for Christ. What I can tell you is that the New Testament specifically speaks out against homosexuality - the practice of homosexuality, not the state of being homosexual - in several places. And seeing as the NT deals with the teaching's of Christ I would have to say that He isn't fond of the practice.

He never mentioned it. I'd assume he felt similarly to the rest of Hellenistic Jewish culture. We can take Paul's Epistles and the Pentateuch as a guide to that, both of which vehemently condemn homosexuality in passing. I'd guess he disapproved of it, but didn't really think about it since he had bigger sins to deal with, like hypocrisy and pride.

Jesus successfully dodged the issue, with 0 statements on gays in the bible.

Then Paul took the reins and splurged his bigotry all over.

Well, there was that naked young man that ran off when they came to arrest Jesus. So I guess Jesus liked his men on the younger side.
