Please explain: Liberal, Conservative, Left, Far Left, Right, Far Right, Tea Party, Independent views!?

The labels are of only very limited use.

Fact is that in some peoples opinions of say the Military Industrial Complex

you could label them "liberal" however the same person may harbor ideas

about the role of faith in education that would get them labeled "conservative"

However to be totally frank, the labels are USELESS, and in fact worse than

USELESS!

Ever hear of Divide & Conquer?

Those categories have always existed. It's just the labels that are more prominent. The meanness and disrespect has also bothered me. I've been voting for 35 years and ever since the 1994 election is when I have started seeing the disrespect and nastiness. Decorum has been thrown out the window. That's the real difference between now and then.

In terms of the media, they are merely following the lead of the nasty people and belligerent politicians on both sides of the aisle. While it may be bad for the country to propagate such divisiveness, it certainly is good for ratings. And, that's all they care about. I miss the days of Chet Huntley and David Brinkley and Walter Cronkite. Honorable news casters that only reported news and stayed away from the opinion driven reality TV style news delivered today.

Also, for every one of those categories listed, you have a social and fiscal side. I might be considered a left leaning liberal socially but a centrist or a right leaning liberal fiscally.

Presidents will never please everybody. Everything a president does to help one group will probably hurt another group. So, like always, vote for the guy that matches the most or most important of your issues.

in my view, the main important replace got here from the Republicans. all of these descriptions are designed to make the american voter think they actually have a choice when they vote, but in fact there is really very little choice.

when it comes to the continued fleecing of the american taxpayer all of the above are in perfect sync with one another.

no one wants to rock the boat so much that they, say, demand a line by line AUDIT of all spending by the federal govt. not just the totals - but the line by line itemized reality of where the money goes.

my guess is we are grossly overpaying for basic services.

for instance, we KNOW our armed forces in afganistan are paying $1,000.00 a gallon for gas.

we know this.

we KNOW that medicare part d is forbidden by law to bargain for better prices with the pharma companies.

we know this.

imagine what we DON'T know...

Ok but our last president was a statist (Medicare part d, patriot act, no child left behind) and our current president is a Marxist who uses class warfare as his most powerful weapon.

Democrats are pretty much extinct.

We got Conservatives- mostly Christians now VS. The commies- Socialists, marxists and jihadists.

The world is on fire mainly because of the Jihadist movement. For some reason Washington thinks we have help the Jihadists movement and help them form A Caliphate in the Middle east for Shariah.

Nobody really knows whats going on, but this Islamic Spreading around world now - is super creepy,and scary! Africans are being attacked daily by these Jihadists- Indonesians- Tawain- India etc.. all get bombed by Jihadists now and to this govt we got now- they act like its normal? WTF?

People who want integrity, values and a future tend to be right wing.

People who have no conscience and set their moval standards low tend to be left wing. They also tend to be useless in the private sector and therefore rely heavily on government programs.

it has also been said that when a government is honest and upright, there if very little unease in the country, whereas if a government is corrupt, there is strife, gangs, unrest and much controversy among the people.
