Did you contact your Congressman today?

President Obama asked that we contact our Congressmen to encourage them to vote on his plan to discontinue oil subsidies. They don't really need our money when they are making record breaking profits. You agree?

Unless you want to tell your congressman, or woman, to follow the wishes of the party heads or bosses, it is a total waste of time, as they do NOT work for you, they just listen to whoever is in charge of the party they belong to.

When the health care bill was in progress, over 70% of the people contacting their representatives, made it clear they did not want the bill to go forward, but we have it. So, where and who do you think really cares what you want or desire?

WE have no representation in our government !!!!!!

I'm not American, but I do agree. The Repubs have been howling about Obama's "socialism," but taxpayer-funded subsidies to private companies are exactly that - socialism. It'll be interesting to see how the Repubs vote on that plan.

The oil companies will drill as long as oil and gas prices stay high enough to make it economically viable.
